09/7/2023 12:20 | …regarding the YouTube video posted a few days ago: Similar to the typical MasterInvestor events, the typical 75+ year old whitehead in the audience is a perfect a sign of failed capital allocation. This crowd of contrarian pensioners seems to be the new victim of grandson scams, starring Lance corporal Mark and his Obersturmfuehrer Jim. | oldiegoldie
09/7/2023 11:25 | Don't worry, when the soldiers turn up with the eviction order Mark Child will put on his Gherkin hat and toboggan to the rescue. | zangdook
09/7/2023 07:18 | The ferry was almost new, this together with other assets, in total $17million have been confiscated Degrees from good private universities have been declared nullified Wellcome to Nicaragua There is gold in the hills but someone else, rather than cnr tiny shareholders , will benefit from it, majority will loose, us included Gla, we really need it | book5
09/7/2023 06:21 | Dex, at least shareholders can rest assure knowing the company is worth at least the value of a 90% owned 3rd hand SAG mill :) | sherwood58
08/7/2023 21:43 | Clothes hanger. Bit like a rowing machine. | diggybee
08/7/2023 09:30 | Can someone remind me again why we spent $6 million on an incomplete SAG mill ? | dexdringle
08/7/2023 07:56 | The problem with Proactive events in particular is they do not want any 'unreasonable' questions and brush over value destructive performances by the presenting company, in other words questioners need to ask 'nice' questions, anyone they deem aggressive or challenging is shut down in a instant. My understanding is Proactive charge £5000 a shot for these presentations or offer a package of annual 'support' IRO £35k-£50k In respect of Condor and Mark Child I believe this is not the 1st time he has received heckling, given the share price performance no wonder. | the_debt_collector
08/7/2023 07:24 | Thanks for that, I'll try to get through some of it. I wonder if the heckler was anyone we know on here. What strikes me most from a quick look is that MC has obviously done something to his shirt and had to rush out and buy a new one - you can tell from the way the collar doesn't know how to behave. A minor and slightly facetious point, perhaps, but it tells us something about the man. | zangdook
08/7/2023 05:39 | The recording from last week's proactive one2one investor presentation is now available. I didn't know much about the company until I attended the meeting, hence my questions at the meeting (I don't normally invest in miners or oilers), but it is certainly an interesting company and an interesting situation. There was an unwelcome heckler at the meeting (one of LSE crowd?) - you can just hear him kicking off at the very end of the Q&As - anyway, i think Sarah and Thomas were well aware of his threatening presence throughout the meeting and shut him down quickly (that bit has been edited out), perhaps this could be why (surprsingly) I got so much time with the Mic asking my naive questions, which certainly would have helped run down the time for Q&As. | timbo003
07/7/2023 23:48 | They had to correct the announcement because whoever wrote the first one forgot that Mark Child had been sacked as chairman. Normally when a correction is issued a note is added at the top saying what was corrected but here they say nothing and you have to look for it. Perhaps they could issue another correction to include that missing explanation. | zangdook
07/7/2023 23:31 | The timetable for vesting of these options suggests they plan on keeping the company running in the long term, even after any imagined asset sale, and unless the exercise price can be adjusted downwards in the event of a return of capital I wouldn't be optimistic about seeing much of a cash distribution. | zangdook
07/7/2023 10:15 | „ Nicaragua is a nest of bullies and thieves“ So is London South East ;-)) | oldiegoldie
07/7/2023 09:28 | another private business confiscated ferries to a tourist destination probably someone from the government's party wants that business share of the market the entrepreneur was the first to create the ferry route, but now he losses it Nicaragua is a nest of bullies and thieves. Government thieves are everywhere. I would not be surprised if they ( party members ) want part of cnr wealth and currently are using industrial miners to by-pass USA sanctions in government and smuggle Venezuelan gold. Hopefully, this environment is already discounted, and the share price will not go lower. Imho gold is behaving ok | book5
06/7/2023 05:42 | the bishop is still in prison | book5
05/7/2023 17:17 | My own, admittedly uninformed, opinion is that in the present gold bear market for a company operating in a dangerous climate, the odds are massively stacked against it. The inability of the company to get the share price moving forward with a spate of supposedly good news, ( and despite up to 10 suitors being postulate unless that's just another rumour !!!)) it'll be a bloody miracle if the share price ever gets above 50p. You can choose any company valuation you like and theoretically justify it, but that's just not reality today. On the other hand if you have the patience of Methuselah and you can hang about for a few more years as the company decides it's better to go into hibernation,(more than a possibility IMO) then you might get a better return on your investment later on. I should cut my own losses, but I'm a sucker for a good story hoping that dormancy isn't on the horizon. | corrientes1
05/7/2023 16:02 | Probably he and 888 are both LLM | oldiegoldie
05/7/2023 15:50 | sharenotes is an experimental AI bot. lots of waffle but no meaning. | zangdook
05/7/2023 15:39 | The prudent amongst us have cut some more losses above 30p....? | diggybee
05/7/2023 11:11 | A reasonable interpretation of the £1M cash injection is that CNR requires the cash as a means to complete the deal process. No guarantees, but it may hint at a potential ROI – let’s not get greedy, however. The prudent amongst us will have already taken some profit off the table. Notwithstanding, a revisit post 30p for the share price does not seem outrageous but by no means a certainty. Good day, all. | sharenotes
05/7/2023 09:54 | zangdook 5 Jul '23 - 07:22 - 11249 of 11253 "Bishop released from prison" does that explain the sudden reappearance of 888? ====/====/====/====/ 🤣🤣 MC is probably involved in this. After all, he's adept at bashing the bishop when he should, instead, be getting some bloody work done. | dexdringle
05/7/2023 09:20 | It is good however that the Manx Lord of Ibiza has stumped up some more cash. | diggybee
05/7/2023 08:57 | Mark moved his business focus from El Salvador to Nicaragua. Personal career choices that matter | oldiegoldie
05/7/2023 08:14 | Even MC said that if we were in Nevada the market would value our assets much higher Finally!! truth comes out of his lips | book5
05/7/2023 07:47 | 888 would call this an outstanding investment climate | oldiegoldie |
