08/11/2017 11:18 | Meanwhile buying in the market makes sense to me...we are on the way back up now IMO | moormoney
08/11/2017 11:13 | I think the OO should have come with a financial health warning attached. I have just got off the phone to HL who told me it could happen within the next few days or QUITE OFTEN, IT CAN TAKE up to 2 TO 3 WEEKS (Groan) depending on the complexity of the offer. | luckyvince
08/11/2017 10:54 | At what point/date will these oo shares be added to our holdings and excess cash be available to take back out. I thought it was the 7th? | neversatisfied
08/11/2017 10:03 | Thanx CurryP, that makes sense. | isonlymoney
08/11/2017 09:56 | IsOnlyMoney, I too had been thinking about the OO and the 'pro rata' distribution. The way most see it, I consider that (your method) to be very unfair. Now take a look at my example... If I owned ONLY 31 shares because of being stung by the Ritson era, then OO allows me to buy ONE solitary share. Now if I asked for 1 mill excess when my shareholding in company is minuscule, why should I benefit more than the LTH's with larger holding but who have smaller cash available? So, it could be that there is a more complex algorithm used to give 'pro rata' based on % shareholding + amount applied for? Just speculating... I guess it will all become clear when we ALL know what we have received.... be interesting to find out from those prepare to divulge their request v allotment. | holly day
08/11/2017 09:47 | IOS, see X'ed post.. "3.2 is 64.7/20.1, ie the total of Open Offer plus Excess shares subscribed for divided by the total number on offer. Let's say that 18.1 million OO shares are taken up, so 2 million remaining to those subscribing for excess shares. That would indicate that 64.7 million - 18.1 million = 46.6 million excess shares were applied for. On a pro rata basis, 2/46.4 = 4.3% would then be satisfied" | currypasty
08/11/2017 09:22 | OO - I'm intrigued by the "5% of what I asked for" situation. By my reckoning, an equal scaling back would mean 31% of what was asked for. Let's say, for each 100k shares, there was an oversubscription of 3.2: 100k shares available 10 people ask for 32k each ie 320k shares To equally share that 100k, each should get 10k shares 10k of a requested 32k = 31% What am I missing? | isonlymoney
08/11/2017 09:15 | Certainly is Curry. | offerman
08/11/2017 08:42 | I wouldn't mind seeing the OO shares first then I can start whinging about my excess money ;) | ccr1958
08/11/2017 08:32 | I started buying yesterday. If Ive only got 5% or there abouts, and everybodies cash is tied up for a while, now seems to me a possible low point. | currypasty
08/11/2017 08:17 | I find it slightly annoying that those of us that took up the excess offer now have cash tied up and are unable to use it to buy shares on the open market. Had everything happened yesterday in an orderly manner, I'm sure that the share price would have risen on the day. | the guardian
08/11/2017 07:32 | nash, falling back today due to reduction in China imports. | the guardian
08/11/2017 07:31 | CERPs aversion to RNSs should not extend to matters such as open offers. If the process is delayed then tell us. If the process has been completed, tell us. | dafrog
07/11/2017 23:14 | oil price will be 70 soon. issue in saudi/lebanon about to be escalated time for CERP to rise back to 100m mcap | nash81
07/11/2017 21:54 | Don't be modest crosseyed. We all know that you are a genius with figures. | the guardian
07/11/2017 21:27 | My estimate of 5% of excess shares applied for in post 1857 was spot on, though perhaps luck had something to with it ;} c | crosseyed
07/11/2017 19:40 | Nothing appeared yet in my HSDL account. | brasso3
07/11/2017 19:36 | Yep, same here. Looks like I received roughly 5% of additional shares that I had asked for. Pretty much a waste of time really as my cash is now locked up until II release it and I only got 1101 excess shares anyway. | the guardian
07/11/2017 17:19 | Mine have appeared now in TD or ii as it is now. Got allocation + maybe 5% of additional that I asked for.Waiting for ii to free up and return the cash to the account for the allocation I wasn't alloted... | oilforex
07/11/2017 16:48 | GD , not good having to wait, a f8cking liberty , I had the same at the 2.5p placing !!! | ccr1958
07/11/2017 16:40 | I got my allocated shares but very few excess shares. I now have to wait up to 10 working days to get the remainder my excess share application money back. Peeved a bit. But Hey Ho! Thats life. GLA, GD | greatfull dead
07/11/2017 16:33 | Yes but we were supposed to know today and trade them. | dafrog
07/11/2017 16:29 | You will get your full allocation and a few more excess if applied for !! | ccr1958
07/11/2017 16:25 | Not sure excess OO I think | geoff0458
07/11/2017 16:23 | geoff, 10% including the allocated 1:31 amount or just on the excess shares applied for? c PS The allocation has not yet appeared in my Selftrade account. | crosseyed |
