SWP
Vmax, as I understand the SWP oil is in the region of around 25 API. You will know better than me how good this is. As regarding millions of billions unfortunately my i phone has a mind of its own. Market cap 500 trillion next year :)

offerman, imo, we are unlikely to see 5.6 in short term as the shares are being snaffled up even at 0.2p drop. If it is pennant formation, again, unlikely to breach 6p. I think being vague with new timing will keep the traders away. So, some T10/T20's will want to exit @ breakeven or a few shillings profit! There is also the possibility that LIND may have started dumping some of their lo, as they a mere lenders and will good return on their loans. Nonetheless, there's been a steady churn of shares and LTH's will (funds permitting) keep taking advantage of any intra-day drops. I still have my order in at 6.0 and may be we'll hit that on a spike down one day, if not, happy with my holding.

Oh, and on the flip side, The broker may help prop up the share price with another note. Potential of another insti joining the LK party. But seriously, imo, the next news will/should make the current price history.....in a positive way!

As per Leo's philosophy, I will under predict 9p by X-mas (news reliant), but will be over the moon if the news drives it even higher.

AIMHO, GL. Have a great weekend all.

Bigmj (Mike Joseph) has the declarable shareholding - not sure of the amount - over 25m I think.

Bigdouble is another holder with a large shareholding but not declarable.

Both "bigs" went to meet the original Mr Big (our LK) today :)

Hope that clears it up?

Although 500 billion would be lovely, I'm presuming bigdouble meant 500 million :)

Update Today 17:11

Good chat with Leo and Gordon this afternoon. They are very happy with progress and lining things up for next year, especially the SWP. Leo out in TT next week, hopefully a few pictures maybe. Production update as stated will be before year end, no changes planned on this. Water injection going as planned. Vmax - oil in the SWP better quality than first thought. The board are not keen on releasing RNSs for the sake of it, when there are announcements they want then to be very worth while. LK still firmly believes Columbus will be a 500 billion company cannot give you a date on this at present. All good as far as I am concerned and have asked for an update soon even if this does not include production figures. Cheers

This is an extract from my Halifax account
"You have received 34603 COLUMBUS ENERGY shares.
Following your election to purchase New Columbus Energy Resources (Columbus) shares under the recent Open Offer, we can confirm that all elections, including Excess Applications, have been processed in accordance with the terms of the Offer.

Please be aware that elections made under the Excess Facility have been subject to scaling back. Subsequently, elections in excess of a shareholder's basic entitlement have been satisfied by up to approximately 19.633 percent in respect of the number of Excess shares applied for."
And the same percentage for my wife,

Very clear explanation on the website crosseyed. TD behaved correctly but any broker giving more than 5.2% had probably taken shares for all investors, even if they hadn't applied.

Case solved and now waiting for an operational update.

CERP have replied to my question regarding how the Registrar handled the Open Offer and Excess Shares allocation. This is available on their site here...

They also identified the missing data in the RNS:
Total nr of shares for distribution = 20.13 million
Open Offer allocation = c 88%, ie 17.7 million
Nr of excess shares = 2.43 million
Scaleback proportion on excess share applications = 5.25%

So there we have it. Each individual registered shareholder, regarding each Nominee Account Providers as an individual, received 5.25% of applied-for shares. CERP had no control over how the NAPs distributed those shares internally.

I've just topped up.

Crosseyed, it is clear that the previous CEO was not on the ball.

They've given themselves targets which are easy to meet. I reckon everyone will be pleasantly surprised with the new production figures by the end of this year.

Offerman, No, Bigmj is Mike Joseph, who has a declarable holding in CERP. Bigdouble is a different person.
