500 million market cap only equates to 77.62p per share and by the time we get to that sort of level, more shares will have been issued and we will be lucky if we see 75p. ;-)

The board are certainly not as obsessed with current production levels as this BB. They are very much concentrating their efforts on growing Columbus into a 500 mill mc organisation. Proving up our resources is the name of the game and this will, in the not to distant future, attract the attention of some of the big players. LK needs time to ensure that the wells production is stable before announcing new figures, let us not fall back to the old days jumping the gun only to find pressure has completely fallen off. New equipment is being installed to handle the fluctuating rates and time is required to tweak this to provide optimum rates. Next year is when the real fun will start, let us not run before we can walk

The new Executive Chairman, CFO and Managing Director (Trinidad) have all agreed to receive half of their fees for the first twelve months of their employment in the form of Company stock to be issued at the end of first year at a price of 2.2p per share, being the price at the time of the placement in March 2017 and broadly equivalent to the mid-market closing price of 2.18p on the day prior to the Executive Chairman's appointment.

My point on the increased production figures is that CERP has now gone beyond the dependantcy of substantial production increases to develop further and be a sustainable business.. but the more BOPD Goudron can produce the faster development opportunity’s can be pursued.. so that’s why I’m content with 550bopd.

The target is quite clear (550 BOPD by year end). LK has confirmed we are on target and everything is progressing to plan. 7 Weeks is not a long time so happy to wait. I am sure LK will issue an RNS before xmas as it would get lost during the holiday period.

TG, re aversion to news, I see it as a more professional approach unlike Ritson and Lenigas (rns's and tweets like confetti followed by a shock 'n horror rns). Leo seems ambitious and has his reputation to maintain and as such I like his measured approach. I'd be happy with a quarterly update, unless something extraordinary surfaces (no pun intended!). I'd rather the well stimulation and water flood programs reach a stable state before announcing than be disappointed that (for example) 50% of wells tested had been a waste of time. A Ritson series of RNS's would've updated on each well stimulation...followed by an oooops! rns. So careful what you wish for....

The new board have transformed the company and I think that we can all be confident that the production and reserves are going to increase significantly over the course of 2018.

The only downer for me is the aversion to issuing RNSs. I don't want to see an RNS just for the sake of it but leaving long periods of no news gives traders / shorters the chance to move in.

Delaying operational updates until there is a lot to say will simply create a spike in the price and in my view, is not the way to encourage a slow and steady rise in the share price

It is important that we adopt the correct strategy to maximise production and reserves efficiently but good communication has to be part of the strategy to grow the company.

Even if SWP is a duster,We still have Cedros . If that is a duster then we still have Goudron and Goudron huge feeder. Then could use monies from Goudron and feeder for South America acquisitions.

It all starts to make sense. So that's why people on here are so fixated with how many shares they've got. It sounds like the SWP could be transformational for Cerp re proven reserves. The only sure way of knowing is to drill a hole.

LK explained to me that major players are not that interested in how many bpd are being produced. They are far more interested in proven resources. That is why the board are so keen to drill deeper in the SWP. They are convinced the SWP will be a game changer.

We do have the ARK survey that covers the SWP and shows the shelves and migration routes of oil along with the caption areas and caps of the land . I have seen some of those results and I am no expert or even an apprentice but even I could see the different soils and entrapment areas associated with oil mitigation and the reasons for such an anomaly can occur. We have the information re the ARK survey as to where that sweet spot is, NR knew this as he was a geologist and LK knows this as he is an oil man and NR is still on the books as an advisor but , If I could see it then LK would be blinded by it. Was DL correct in the interpretation that we had a 800lbs Gorilla in our midst?

As a new (15/09/2017) CERP investor, I found this an interesting read on SWP;-

LGO Energy's Cedros Prospect in Trinidad.
Exploration Potential of the South West Peninsula, Trinidad - Feb 8, 2015.

The author mentions;- "Way back in 1954 saw the drilling of the deepest land well on the Peninsula, Apex Cedros 4 (ACD4) to 16,155' and found 30'of Lengua light oil/condensate pay at 13,000'. This well is just onshore Esperanza Bay."
