Certainly could do with a bounce. One of my few tech holdings that pay a dividend but priced more on expectation than yield.

Contract win

Mass awarded GBP11m contract extension

Cohort, the AIM listed independent technology group, announces that its wholly owned subsidiary MASS Consultants Ltd ("MASS") has been awarded a further two-year extension to the Joint Command and Staff Training (JCAST) contract for the UK armed forces' Strategic Command. The contract extension has a value of over GBP11m and is deliverable evenly over two years, commencing in July 2022

Earnings in the Covid-19 impacted year were 33.6p (37.1p), while the dividend was increased from 10.1p to 11.1p per share. There is a strong order book for this year and ahead. The shares have enjoyed a quick reactionary run upwards since this week's results. Now at 579p they do have the look of wanting to grab at much higher price levels again. Hold very tight – they will be back up in the 650p price range fairly soon, methinks.

Thanks Rb - looks a bit more than possible with order received and work starting now. Anyway did nothing for the price but good validation of our technology and the ELAC acquisition.

I've been a holder for @ 5 years. I like the management team (ex. Alvis) and the diversified nature of the businesses. Unlikely to set the world alight but a steady climber. I stand to be corrected. Likely to be taken over as management retire and/or starts to win bigger and bigger contracts.
