Looks like write-up in Shares Magazine today:

Cohort is on the march
Building order book boosts visibility ahead of first-half results
A bulkier order book increases visibility and therefore quality of earnings at minnow defence firm Cohort (CHRT:AIM). This could help sustain a re-rating of the stock into its interims which are due in December. Last month's update (18 Sep) on ...

Does anyone here know the gist of the article?

Robbie burns updated his website today he said the following about cohort Cohort dipped a bit today, looked like a bit of strange panic selling or profit taking but the report looked fine to me especially longer-term so sticking with it myself.

Good update in my opinion. Order book rising nicely and some nice contracts being won.Maybe the comment about profits may be more weighted to the second half scared Afew investors off or maybee they were expecting more.

Looks good. We should continue to rise slowly but surely 200 seems like a sensible short to medium term target

Looking good - wouldn't be surprised for it to naturally retrace, but I'm in this for the long Term - thanks to Paul for pointing it out:

• c.17m cash on balance sheet, no debt, no pension deficit.
• 2014 PE is 9.8, industry average is 14.5 so looks cheap.
• Accelerated progression of dividend, 2.2% yield, 6x covered.
• Strong operating margins at 12%.
• Good cash flows - quality earnings - ROE and ROC c.15%.
• Niche business so more immune to budget cuts;
• The outlook is strong and the business has good viability.
• Management purchased shares at 120p a while back, interests aligned.
• From meeting the management, they appear to be quality.
• Brokers consistently, albeit slowly, upgrading EPS.
• Plenty of upside here - especially with industry going gang busters!!!
• Looks like a very attractive long term value play, PT 250p in 1 year.

Hi Sammy,

Thanks for the link to the video, v helpful.

I particularly like the way Cohort's CEO says that the new contract win "de-risks the rest of the year".

Bloody annoying the way this website deliberately corrupts links - in this case I had to amend the hxxp to http. Stupid & pointless advfn, please stop doing this!

Cheers, Paul.

Still very much under the radar looking at the low volume. Their was a small piece in the times by Martin Waller the day after the results. He stated no reason to chase for now. I disagree and think its a bargain. I never trust what the papers and glossy magazines publish either. So called experts are often wrong.
