13/2/2004 14:34 | anyone worked out whats buys and what sells are? | nmurrells
13/2/2004 12:55 | CEO Michael Sandpearl abroad on a two week business trip. No idea if it is significant, but given the recent buying interest, I wonder if there might be some connection. | judgement
13/2/2004 11:03 | partner - not sure about the london cameras - but certainly a growth sector at the moment | jnbrw
13/2/2004 10:58 | Jnbrw not much newsflow from coe i'm afraid.I beleive they did all the cameras for London congestion charges.Market potential huge, but coe needs to deliver. | partner
13/2/2004 10:41 | well this has been the tightest spread for a very long time | nmurrells
13/2/2004 10:03 | from what I can gather seems to have quite attractive fundamentals - does anyone have any in depth knowledge of this co? info difficult to come by after the reorganisation from timeload/scoot days but from what I can find out so far co has 10 to 12m shares in issue mkt cap 1.2m ish estimates of 550k to 1m+ cash grateful if anyone has any later info as this is now a few months old | jnbrw
13/2/2004 09:17 | nice bounce from 8p the last few days though, was looking then, thought twice and look at em now.... bums | jiggle

13/2/2004 08:06 | Re my post no. 253. Well done advfn. Mkt cap now correct. | partner
12/2/2004 23:26 | Well like most people I've ignored the paltry number and value of these I now hold but it just could be time to look at them again. I detect a little stirring of the Coe pot and it could be a good time to take a chance. Excellent web site, very informative and up to date unlike many other better rated companies. With the growth in town centre CCTV and traffic monitoring/charging systems seemingly inevitable they may steal a march on many others. Could be worth a little flutter, and they can be held in an ISA too which is a little bonus for long termers. martincoops, congrats on your 20% and possibly much more to come. | warranty
12/2/2004 18:14 | Hi all Don't forget you only need an RNS when it is 3% or greater. Nice rise today but this has a lot further to go IMHO and dont forget DYOR not ramping just saying it as it is. I am now up over 20% in 3 days. Good luck all | martincoops
12/2/2004 15:33 | nmurrells they didnt bother to tell the market last year when those 2 600k trades went through = 11% of the company. It appears its 1 rule for this pile of xxxx and another for every other company listed on the lse. | rbonnier
12/2/2004 09:13 | Have spoken to advfn this morning re mkt cap displayed of 43m.Have said they will look into it. | partner
12/2/2004 08:35 | Any ideas on yesterdays 387,596. Sale or buy.Hopefully it was the clear out of somebodys holding and we can now make progress.Noted a couple of purchases of 50k at 10.75p.Any clues with level 2 this morning, any support on 9p bid. | partner
11/2/2004 22:33 | surely that 387,596. trade should have a rns with it?? thats over 2.5% of the company!!!!!!!!!!!!! | nmurrells
11/2/2004 19:20 | Also think the 50,000 sell is a buy as i assume that there is a 2 hour delay on trades over 6,000 or around that figure. I brought in a couple of days ago, yes I am mad but have a feeling this is going up soon.Any advice on this company appreciated, Cheers Martin | martincoops
11/2/2004 19:08 | Don't think it was a dump, late trade at 9p expect it to be a buy... But could be wrong. | martincoops
11/2/2004 16:25 | WHOA BIG DUMP THERE.............. | nmurrells
10/2/2004 08:42 | Thanks Stew, helps a lot, will have a dig and then put on the back burner I think for a while.... | jiggle
09/2/2004 17:12 | jiggle, I recommend contacting the company and asking them for a copy of the offer document...they should still have a few copies spare. From what I remember (I binned mine ages ago!), COE has had a chequered past, swinging from profit to loss to profit year after year. The P&L account showed that the grand total of money made in its 10 years+ of existence was a pittance and will presumably now currently be negative. Don't get me wrong, my impression wasn't completely negative. If strong management could get a grip on the situation and turn the sort of profits that it made in the past into a consistent thing (I vaguely recall 1M being quoted for a couple of years ago) then there's value there, it just looked likely to me that this year was going to be a bad one and I was extremely happy to be able to tender the lot. | stewjames
09/2/2004 16:59 | Cheers Stew thanks for your thoughts I see RBonnier has been on the board for ages.....RBonnier can you summarise your thoughts on this for us newbies please? | jiggle
09/2/2004 16:02 | Could be worth an investment once costcutting kicks in but I reckon this is a situation where you're better off being patient and waiting for solid news rather than punting on guesswork (informed or not). Simply too many unknowns at the moment. | stewjames
09/2/2004 15:54 | anyone know much about this one? any background information, links etc. would be really useful, thanks..... seems a sordid little company (from a massive one a year or 2 ago), looks like nobody will currently touch with a barge pole. question is, is will it do well in its new market ? CCTV is growing and growing isn't it? so definitely a market there; new products coming out etc. etc. Could be a bargain at the current price; not had a great deal of time to investigate though and obviously not going to dip my toe until I do.. Any info, greatly appreciated. | jiggle |
