COBR now down to levels we last saw in February 2022. Like now, there had been a steady decline over several months. Let's hope history repeats itself and we get a strong bounce up from this level.

I knew it. Hung on from 3p to 1.8p before finally selling some because I was losing so much and now it starts going up again. Seems that buyers were waiting all along. They just wanted to crash the price as much as possible first.

Whilst not a huge sum of money, validation from Australian authorities that COBR may well be on to something of value!......

What is with this share? I hung on here with the shares falling away hoping for a good update. What we got was even better than I expected and no reaction from the share price Had to sell some to limit losses. Suppose it'll go up now.

Anyone? Does this share normally have such a big bid/offer spread?

'Woe betide any speculator who has shorted tin. At one stage in London trading overnight, the cash spot price was up US$5,000 per tonne (/t) in just that session and briefly got above US$30,500, a move described in reports from London as “short squeezing”. At session’s close, the cash price for the metal was US$29,625/t, up US$4,280 (or 16.8%), while the three-month price ended at US$24,385/t, a gain of US$735 (up 3.1%). That is a backwardation of US$5,420/t, a dramatic sign that the supply-demand situation is under enormous strain as buyers tie up physical metal for immediate delivery. It is the greatest gap between cash and three-month prices in 30 years.'

'Now start focusing on Cobra's tin potential ! Tin up US $ 5,000 at one stage last night in one session. As I predicted tin is going ballistic. Cobra have extensive Hiltaba Suite intrusives the host rock to the emerging tin province in the Gawler Craton. This is huge news in addition to Cobra's gold potential.'

'A review of the structural geology at the Barns deposit by King (2001) showed that the gold mineralisation may be controlled by NW trending structures and the proximal association of the Hiltaba Suite intrusives, granite and granodiorite. Reverse shearing was noted in drill core with west dipping structures displaying gentle to moderate dips of shears and veins.'

ref 100%...

we are awaiting an rns that confirms cobr have spent enough in exploratory costs over last 2yrs or so to earn 50:50 jv partnership with andromeda on asx, hence why i suggested 12-16m mcap. well, cobr have put that rns out, late last year, we await the formalisation of the jv, these barns results should spur that on now. from the relevant rns:

'Stage 1 Completion

Cobra, the mining exploration company focused on the Wudinna Gold Project in South Australia, is pleased to announce that the Company has (through its wholly owned subsidiary, Lady Alice Mines) issued a notice of completion to Andromeda Metals Limited ("Andromeda") and Peninsula Resources Limited confirming that Cobra has fulfilled its Stage 1 obligations entitling it to the initial 50% of the Wudinna Project (the "Project").

The interest in the Project may be increased to 75% by the Company spending a further A$2.9 million over a 3-year period.

Cobra will now work with Andromeda to establish a formal joint venture structure pursuant to which the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Lady Alice Mines, will acquire a 50% participating equity interest in the Project. A further announcement will be made once the joint venture has been formally established.'

No brainer for upside, who will sell at current levels? No-one, read below for explanation.

The fairly recent £1.5m note fund raise was priced to convert at 2.3p a share with warrants attached at 3p conversion. No sellers there.

Prior to that recent warrant conversions were priced at 2p, add to that the share price has been averaged 2.5p over the last 6 months, so most 6 month holders need above 2.5p to profit.

To conclude the only sellers will be ones prepared to take a loss on their investment, most need the share price above 2.5p to balance and above 2.5p to profit.

When the market opens Tuesday fill your boots sub 2.3p IMO.
