14/11/2021 16:42 | Well worth looking at this interview from Microwave Journal just out covering the RF/MW space, the area that CML is targeting aggressively. The theme coming out of this was that the big players are actively snapping up smaller players as the race is on to get a piece of 5G. I was also intrigued by the reference to space activities. 5G/RF/MW looks like a very big opportunity for CML and they are right to go for it. If they get it right, they will be in play. Watch the video, it’s about 10 minutes long. | ![]() bones
13/11/2021 19:50 | US semiconductor index at all time highs. CML supply to that sector so unless CML have screwed up their own raw material supplies, it should bode well. We will find out on 23rd November I guess (interims on 23/11 and not the 24th as shown on the last trading update). | ![]() bones
13/11/2021 16:52 | Very thinly traded in recent weeks.---It will not take much good news to shift the share price up--(or down on the lack of good news). | ![]() roddiemac2
18/10/2021 09:08 | This recent release from one of CML’s main US based distributors looks promising for the new SuRF range: ”RFMW and CML Microcircuits (USA) Inc. are excited to announce the expansion of their already-successful business relationship. Their existing distribution agreement has now been widened to include global marketing and sales of the CML product portfolio. This partnership is poised to build on the success of CML’s new SµRF range of high frequency, high bandwidth ICs targeting RF and mmWave markets. The SµRF range is a perfect fit for the RFMW distribution product line and presents an exciting opportunity to distribute and promote these products on a global scale. RFMW is a specialized distributor providing customers and suppliers with focused distribution of RF and microwave components as well as specialized component-engineerin | ![]() bones
29/9/2021 08:07 | Yes, keeping it conservative with regard to the second half but this is hopefully a case of managing expectations and ultimately over-delivering in practice. The first half performance is reflecting my hopes that their products would be in demand partly because of the semiconductor shortages worldwide. I feel sure that should continue. In the meantime, the new mmWave products will hopefully start to gain traction during 2022. This is where they see the future growth potential as 5G demand intensifies. | ![]() bones

17/8/2021 13:21 | Lovely chunk of special dividend received on Friday and most of it reinvested back into CML today at a “buy the dip” price of 389.9. Happy to build a good stake here. | ![]() bones
06/8/2021 14:03 | Thanks for the info bones...much appreciated. Seems like supply still tipping the balance for the moment then. Will keep an eye on it as such a small spread is particularly tempting for a trading spread bet. | ![]() gleach23
06/8/2021 13:43 | Hi gleach23 Can sell 2,500 @ 395, so not overly bid for just now. | ![]() bones
06/8/2021 11:31 | Hi bones...are you able to sell in decent quantity now? There appears to be plenty available to buy (15k). I can now sell 2k I have in one account which I couldn't last few days and judging by trades the Bid appears to be strengthening so things could be on the turn. | ![]() gleach23

06/8/2021 11:12 | Ignore the quotes. Currently can sell at 395 and buy at 397. Suggests some jostling for position. | ![]() bones
04/8/2021 12:23 | Encouraging, if brief, update for the AGM today. I am sure the modest fanfare will yield to a much stronger performance as the FY22 period progresses. | ![]() bones
30/7/2021 12:58 | bones , I think it is best not to attend. I have always found them helpful on the few occasions I have phoned them with a question. The decision to dispose of Hyperstone and to concentrate on 5G represents a step change in the business. They do come across as being very confident about this course of action. | ![]() roddiemac2
29/7/2021 22:59 | Roddiemac2, thank you for the information. I think (for this year) it is best not to go to the AGM. I read enough in the detailed commentary by the board in the final results RNS to make me believe the management is bullish about prospects in the five years ahead. Certainly they seemed marginally more chipper than at the time of the capital distribution. | ![]() bones
29/7/2021 21:34 | bones, Up till two years ago I attended the AGMs. On several occasions I was the only investor there , apart from management and family. They do not give a presentation at the AGM. It is something of a formality , with the chance to talk with management after the voting is over. I will collect a printed copy of the annual report tomorrow or Monday and see what they say about attending the meeting. Do you have any specific questions about the business going forward? I spoke to Nigel at the time they announced the return of capital. He said this year would be tough, but that they had new products coming to market next year: no more than that. | ![]() roddiemac2

07/7/2021 16:25 | Trade stats showing strong bidding above midprice all day. Despite a good number of round number sales, even now I can sell a large amount online at 461p. Seems to be ongoing demand for shares on that basis. | ![]() bones
03/7/2021 18:36 | It is worth another read through the commentaries by Nigel Clark and Chris Gurry, main directors of CML, in the recent final results release. Every time I study the comments, I see an ever increasing seam of bullishness emerging. The positivity in there and the barely disguised expectations of profitable expansion for the next five years is notable for a usually conservative board. They have clearly felt justified in the path they set themselves with the sale of Hyperstone and the acquisition of PRFI, both realised in 2020. CML is my third largest holding now but it currently occupies first place in my sense of what good things could be developing over the next two years. | ![]() bones |
