July 27th they said net operating income tracking last years, namely £288m, now £250m to £280m......that's a big range and wouldn't trust anything they say.

Compare with PLUS ‘robust performance’, extra dividend and an add on buy back. Time to put this dog down. Put the business up for sale please.

Think I'd wait until this has bottomed out and found some support

£334m of cash and amounts due from brokers at the finals and look at the market cap now. Just about a free business now, although that excludes the moderate deficit on receivables and payables.

The YTD chart considering the net cash position and underlying economics is such a turn-on.

Spent roughly £230m on Operating expenses last year. No idea how much is fixed vs variable. But would seem ripe for consolidation if IT costs are a certain fixed proportion.

Edit: Perhaps someone can confirm the dividend -? I think I derived this one from LSE.

Still see £1 as looming support.

Read all the prevailing opinions for and against

Up shot left a small bid @ 130 and got given

Will put these with my tcap(you don t want to know at what level) north of today's price

Will try and play them off against one and other dividends help

Nothing much going on elsewhere think greater opportunities here

Good luck all

It's not awful at all. Most small and midcap companies are seeing shares fall on updates, even if they are decent. Poor ones get slaughtered. An awful update would see shares down 50%+ rather than 2p. 2p is up in the "decent" range.

Having said that, further drift would not surprise. Small investors are selling. Cash seems more attractive with 5%+ interest available for longer term savings. It takes significant incentives to attract new buyers in this market and "decent" is not enough at the moment.

It should get more interesting soon, though. Western yield curves are massively inverted. Something should go bang in the financial system before long and these should then fly.

No, it really is awful. Its what they dont say that says it all...and very downbeat tone too. This is currently undervalued but think i will move my buy in target to circa 90p

Trading in line and significant product expansion coming soon doesn't seem so bad.

Exactly. All that matters with these updates is how they fare vs the expectations in the price. Expectations here were low and I don’t think today’s news was that bad so I’d expect this to trade a little down / flat, maybe even a little up when the market opens.
