31/5/2012 07:44 | Amargosa thanks for that. This is painful but we've got to be patient. Having said that, the shares have been badly affected recently (perhaps more than most) suggesting something wrong. The shares are not 'behaving' at all. | errollc
31/5/2012 06:59 | Macquarie came in at 116.5p.It is a technical adjustment due to the increased number of shares in issue.Algy Cluff considered the offer a couple of years ago to under value the company. Two years down the line the company is struggling to give the shareholders some real value.Although the company directors have talked about not wishing to dilute the number of shares in issue this has been happening very slowly over the last few years.115m to 168m now.I guess the only good thing is that we don't have to much longer to go before the much talked about company making mine information is released. | fitton
31/5/2012 06:58 | thought they came into existence on 28 may..today is just notification from macq | taffer87
31/5/2012 06:45 | They have the same number of shares they originally took at 116.5p, just the % that changes - today is the day the new Sega shares come into existence. | amargosa
31/5/2012 06:29 | How many shares did Macquarie have initially (think they came in at 110p or so?). Has their shareholding gone down because of the recent placing or because they've been selling?? If they've been selling, it might explain the recent weakness. | errollc
31/5/2012 00:55 | I will be v.happy eith 1.25 in next 6 months. | taffer87
30/5/2012 20:27 | fitton I agree with your sentiments. Did CLF really turn down an approach at £1.50 two year's ago? It doesn't seem believable now. | rogsim
30/5/2012 20:07 | Now at a 2 1/2 year low.Something has to give.1 mine producing 70,000+ oz a year.1 mine soon to be in production.1 soon to be under development.100m valuation.Gold prediced to rise.Time is running out for Cluff as an independent,I hope.Done my time with this company.I accept the market is under presure and almost all shares are being sold heavily but 30 to 40 thousand difference between buys and sells and once again were down 7%.Not even a guarantee that the DFS with be out on time.No other time frame has been met so far. | fitton
27/5/2012 20:18 | And he's suggesting to buy copper just as we're on the precipice of of a huge global recession and banking crisis. He won't be around for long! | simonbroughton
27/5/2012 18:11 | CURRYPASTY - You may want to moderate the post above? That guy has posted this on 124 different forums. And this is the only post he has ever posted. | taffer87
27/5/2012 15:04 | At least an AGM Chairman statement might be out tomorrow. Is anyone attending the AGM? | taffer87
25/5/2012 13:02 | yeah fair point.. but for a co. trying to raise financing in the very near term (unless the BFS is delayed), you would hope they do better. | taffer87
25/5/2012 11:33 | Get used to it Taffer. No hurry in Africa, as they say (in Africa) | ppidkw
24/5/2012 17:33 | "It added that a second phase of diamond drilling focusing on the N-S structures, consisting of 2,000 metres across 9 holes, has begun with results expected in March this year.Meanwhile, an additional 1,000 metre drilling programme following up on the E-W structures is planned for February this year, with results expected this April." This is from a proactive investor article after an RNS in Jan. Where are these results?? | taffer87
24/5/2012 13:43 | For those into charting looks like we are half way through an elliot wave, due to drop back a bit before takeing us to at least mid 70's fairly soon. | selkirk69
24/5/2012 12:02 | Good to see the deal completed. Need some solid news flow now, before any financing for the mine. As there may be a placing or convertible bonds, with conversion at a premium to share price The share price in June and July, will make a big difference to shareholders in the long run. Unless plan is to sell post DFS and not develop it. Expecting below in the next 5/6 weeks: PEA on SEGA 2 sets of resource updates (no idea why these have been delayed) DFS Maybe results from the SEGA 10km drilling as well. | taffer87
24/5/2012 07:38 | Well, that's Sega in the bag. There's always a slight concern when part of the deal is based on receiving a certain number of new shares, then the share price tanks before the deal is concluded and the vendor company wants to renegotiate the deal. At least that didn't happen in this case. | amargosa
22/5/2012 07:14 | A new Cluff company coming to market today CLNR | mildred49
17/5/2012 15:22 | Gold at 1570.. I will be absolutely amazed if Gold is at $1570 and Baomahun can not be financed, in a worst case scenario, by locking in a hedge for the value of the debt (and debt is enough to meet 100% of financing requirements) at a gold selling price of $1350+ or something similar (so hedge at a c. 15% discount to spot price). CLF might not want to hedge but that's one way to finance, if normal financing is not forthcoming. | taffer87
17/5/2012 10:48 | Nice summary thanks! | jamesjoel
17/5/2012 09:24 | Price declined has been more severe than other producers.I would now tend to agree with an earlier comment that its down to the worry of financing Baomahun.Either way I think there is now very limited downside with good potential upside. If they stuggle to finance Baomahun then in my opinion Cluff will be taken over.If they are able to finance Baomahun then I am sure it will be on sensible terms.I am now adding at these levels and will continue if the price continues to fall.As I have said many times.A takeover is the best solution for shareholders unless we are prepared for another 2-3 years of poor valuations. | fitton |
