Can't even manage a bounce on a market bull day. Something appears to be SERIOUSLY wrong here.

If claims made they should be limited to difference between interest rate charged, and best available rate at material time. So not large on individual basis. Will some not bother to claim? Not sure about cumulative amounts.Multi-year low. I topped up yesterday at 5.48.

You may well be right there .. very much in need of some comms from the company here

This is pretty brutal. If a car dealer offers you a finance package then you have the choice to accept it or shop around for a better loan deal, and use the loan to buy cash. Caveat emptor seems to no longer apply in the UK?

If the fibs are anything to go off here they are on the daily:562.58 560.46 558.75 557.04 554.60 553.15 547.56 545.50 542.54 538.45 531.00 528.04 513.54It's very hard to catch a bounce here, also, seems to drop slightly when the yanks wake up, not sure if a small fund is selling down when they wake..

My worry here, is the exposure the new PPI is about to get... Car finance reclaiming update: I know many of you are asking me about this. Just to say we think we're about ten days away from launching our full guide and free help tool. I will be locking myself away tomorrow pm to go through the first draft in detail. So please be patient with us. Full links to it here as soon as it is live.https://x.com/martinslewis/status/1750207199509360912?s=46

Price to Book Ratio 0.53

What is a good price-to-book ratio?
A price-to-book less than 1 ratio could mean the stock is undervalued and worth buying. A price-to-book ratio greater than 1 indicates that the stock price is trading at a premium to the company's book value. It also indicates that you could be overpaying for what would be left if the company went immediately bankrupt.

Cbg should have cut the dividend last year following the huge provision as paying uncovered dividends can lead to problems.

Yet another huge provision and Cbg could get into serious trouble maintaining regulatory ratios, etc. One to avoid until Cbg release an update. No wonder the share price is in free fall.

jonnybig,

Perhaps an idea to take your own advice, and rest your case.

I haven't 'bailed out' when the share price has already bombed.

As my post makes clear, I'll eventually exit with a small profit. My investment life and decisions thereafter will then move on.

Your reply to the poster requesting NAV was quite crass, he/she asked a simple question. Your reply does you no credit...

Regards,

d.

It was a polite question, in response to your rather rampy post. I have a small holding at £6 average bought last week.

Perhaps you shouldn't be posting on bulletin boards if you only want to post lots of emptiness.

Don't take offence but if you're incapable of looking at the NAV in the last accounts and comparing it with the market cap, you shouldn't be investing in shares.

Good buying opportunity with a huge discount to NAV.

Can you please post the NAV ?

Can never understand why some folk bail out when the share price has already bombed. Pure fear. Still waiting myself for the bottom which might have been hit already. Good buying opportunity with a huge discount to NAV. Certainly not a sell at this share price

Sold, too much negative stuff in the market, and nothing in the way of news from CBG, in terms of hard and honest disclosures regarding exposure and/or provisions.

As I bought within a SIPP just weeks ago, once my tax relief is credited, I'll be in profit. Just a little, though I'm content to exit unscathed.

Greatest of luck to existing holders not selling, you have more faith in CBG's management than I do. What a shambles...

The problems is, consumer spending dropping, rates on a spike, potential large payout, Novitas recovery... Seems risky until full impacts are known (Divi/compensation) etc...

Think this is well over done but as the old adage goes, "markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent." Its all a worry for CBG.Even if the worst case scenario that RBC states at £120m comes to light, that's still not as much as Novitas has cost and CBG are nearly through that. I was expecting the share price to rerate back over 1000 but that seem a long way off now.....

Martin is going to be posting his document of how to claim imminently... Expect when he does, this will be all over the media.. awareness will grow and could cause panic.. holding off going long until that's out.
