Stephen,

Thanks for the kind words!

Hopefully one day there will be celebrations here and the ROI will have paid up, but very dangerous to call it a slam dunk, IMO.

sos100,

Yes, you have a thread run by an ueber bull, and generally they don't work very well!

Moderation tends to be heavily biased, whereas no moderation allows posters to make adult choices about whom they wish to read and whom they don't.

I have a job to do and cannot nor want to moderate here all day, do you?

How would only moderating non blue posters be a 'balanced thread'?

Greetings twg

You may be right; I hold OXS and more recently CHL for similar reasons though the decision in OXS seems well overdue whereas that in CHL is not.
However the not so subtle hints of CHL s/t makes a result here too possible in the near term.

All imho so DYOR

this might be the case but why not just monitor the thread?

---

I cannot monitor or moderate blue posters, so there is no point in only monitoring the others!

And moderation in itself brings charges of bias, so not even bothering to go down that road.

ADVFN will monitor and ban if serious breaches occur.

Sorry my English is so bad when I forget to check it.
It do feel like Churchill is only getting half the buying power until Oxus's verdict.

The Oxus result will move CHL up if they win or loose.
As if OXS lost then Oxus holders will use CHL to regain more than their money back,
and if they win then they be buying in here for the same thing to happen again.

The directorate change is a pointless exercise, or else this appointment can only have been made to accommodate some sort of future eventuality.

Current CHL Board of directors don't have a great deal to do, therefore why appoint another? Out of Court Settlement to be discussed, and all major shareholders present, no other possible explanation. No Ramp, just common sense.

this might be the case but why not just monitor the thread?

comes a point when there's no choice but to start a new thread..

The starting of a new thread shows the MO, which is to control it.

Otherwise why not simply filter those posters who cause you angst?

I have long thought 'debbie' is trading CHL, to start another thread backs that opinion up.

The filter button was put therefor a reason, but funnily enough everyone whines about other posters, but can never bring themselves to use it!

Litigation is a big no no for me, whatever the cause. obviously CHL had no choice but to contest the theft of their legal holding in a foreign country, which is a slightly different matter.

From ROI perspective out of court settlement, MUST be the best option. ROI legal team have a duty to advise ROI on the cheapest course of action from here, and on that point the legal team have a bunch of rogues to defend, a situation that the legal team themselves will be aware of. For any legal team to finish up in a position where they themselves COULD be criticised by the tribunal for not advising either, withdrawal or early settlement, would be detrimental to further work.

Odds on out of court settlement must be massive odds on, a certainty.

Personally, I don't think the tribunal will allow this much more mileage, after all, the tribunal do have a duty to the courts credibility and will therefore curtail proceedings. imho.

Stephen I think most would agree with you there !
The discrepency seems to be when ?
What odds would you personally give of this being settled OOC ?
Or if you prefer ,what do you think the odds of it going all the way are ?

Debbie, the goings on at CHL truly beggars belief, ROI accuse CHL of fraud, ultimately withdrawn, then a fortuitous burglary followed by an Arson attack for which no culprit is found, but valuable documents are destroyed.
Then false documents produced by ROI at the hearing and not least the prime ROI witness tells the tribunal he will not be attending.

As a bookie, I would make the odds on CHL succeeding, 1/100.
