07/9/2010 15:16 | Making Heaps A few of us bailed out earlier this year, if you look back through the thread you will see the postings. This has been a great stock but it is different now they have an active and loss making business. Chesnera was a 14 man money making machine. They are now in unchartered waters in my view. I and others moved out of csn and into a a pure Zombie play by buying phnx. Hope that helps R2 | robsy2
27/8/2010 16:23 | I was somewhat disappointed to hear that the Scandanavian acquisition was still losing money until it reaches critical mass. Will this happen? It did seem too good to be true at the time. My hope had been that NAV would be balanced out between lapsing policies in the UK and ongoing and new ones in Scandanavia. Any thoughts? | makingheaps
27/8/2010 08:50 | I fully agree billy, the spread is a barrier but if you bide your time you will get a more acceptable spread then the current/usual 2.746% during the daily cycle. Let me qualify my definition of "trading". I don't mean in/out day trading but I was alluding to what I call frequent trading. | luderitz
27/8/2010 08:05 | luderitz with a spread like that? | billy5
27/8/2010 07:57 | No Rob, but it's good for short term trading I find. | luderitz
03/8/2010 16:43 | Has anyone any idea why the share price is so volatile? | robcoo
18/6/2010 19:03 | could be I guess. | markie7
18/6/2010 18:06 | suggest investors looking to replace BP yield | phillis
18/6/2010 17:18 | No idea Markie,Up over 8.5% today.. but when it moves it certainly does move -): | luderitz
18/6/2010 17:04 | woah. what happened there? Hit 240 during the day. must be a decent reason for that. | markie7
18/6/2010 14:04 | Seems to have somewhat sprung into life today. No recent news formally announced. | bullsvbears

21/5/2010 09:39 | Not seen my divi payment yet! I'm with Lloyds nominee - Anyone in the same boat? Regards SP | sp2
20/4/2010 13:08 | Thank you for that jonwig - But I must admit zangdook caught me being to clever by half. Still, learning all the time on these boards. Regards SP | sp2
20/4/2010 12:54 | SP2 - you're partly right: even with a SETS stock, instis sit on the order book to provide liquidity, so they're fulfilling a MM role. In the case of CSN about half of the trades are 'O' and half 'AT'. | jonwig
20/4/2010 12:37 | zangdook MMs? Isn't this a SETS stock? There's been what looks like fairly steady selling the last few days. Of course they are! how remiss of me. Please accept my apologies for being so dim Regards SP | sp2
20/4/2010 12:25 | There was some discussion here about the valuation getting a bit full. Some of us have moved all or part to PHNX. 245p was sell territory, this is looking more like fair value. | jonwig
20/4/2010 11:17 | may get some more here. yield back up over 7% | markie7
20/4/2010 11:15 | MMs? Isn't this a SETS stock? There's been what looks like fairly steady selling the last few days. | zangdook
20/4/2010 11:10 | Probably MM's knocking out a few stops - hold yer nerve ;-) | sp2 |
