Making Heaps
A few of us bailed out earlier this year, if you look back through the thread you will see the postings.
This has been a great stock but it is different now they have an active and loss making business. Chesnera was a 14 man money making machine. They are now in unchartered waters in my view. I and others moved out of csn and into a a pure Zombie play by buying phnx.
Hope that helps

I was somewhat disappointed to hear that the Scandanavian acquisition was still losing money until it reaches critical mass. Will this happen? It did seem too good to be true at the time. My hope had been that NAV would be balanced out between lapsing policies in the UK and ongoing and new ones in Scandanavia. Any thoughts?

I fully agree billy, the spread is a barrier but if you bide your time you will get a more acceptable spread then the current/usual 2.746% during the daily cycle.

Let me qualify my definition of "trading". I don't mean in/out day trading but I was alluding to what I call frequent trading.

No Rob, but it's good for short term trading I find.

SP2 - you're partly right: even with a SETS stock, instis sit on the order book to provide liquidity, so they're fulfilling a MM role.
In the case of CSN about half of the trades are 'O' and half 'AT'.

MMs? Isn't this a SETS stock? There's been what looks like fairly steady selling the last few days.

Of course they are! how remiss of me. Please accept my apologies for being so dim

There was some discussion here about the valuation getting a bit full. Some of us have moved all or part to PHNX. 245p was sell territory, this is looking more like fair value.
