20/4/2018 13:01 | I really hope you lot dont find gas, gas prices will come down.Currently the only producing company in Morocco, sdx get $10/mcf. We just found a lot more gas today.Hope char finds oil! | neo26
20/4/2018 12:59 | 888I was going to mention that, sdx block is onshore and char block is to the west offshore. There does appear to be hydrocarnon potential especially near the northern section of morocco. Dont forget to the east we have Sou havin loads of gas. | neo26

19/4/2018 11:32 | What’s a leaky ship among friends? It’s a time thing really, the longer they take, the better hopefully for us. They’d soon chuck it in if they thought it was dry on the way down! Fingers xd? | rayrac
19/4/2018 09:44 | Must say ,impressed with the lack of a leaky ship , well done Larry , watching the trades very closely. | jotoha2

18/4/2018 19:58 | Just trying to understand how many people are currently onboard the Saipem, may I assume that during full normal operations, it looks something like this:- 3x drilling shift teams of around 25 per team (75 total). 2x sailing crews, perhaps 20 per team (40 total). 2x facilitation crews, chiefs, cleaners, stewards ect.. 15 per team (30 total). 1x expert essentials, H&S and others. (10 total). 1x guests (drilling partners, management or others) - rotation of between 10 - 15 at any time perhaps. 2x - 12 hour shifts (24 hour operation!). 2 or 3 week term contracts. So - could peak at 175 people. - Capacity of 200 AirCon rooms. So a level of scaling perhaps 60 people at prelims for spud - numbers moving up quickly as drilling commences and falling as drilling reaches conclusion (target depth). Logging and data recorders remaining or boarding after reaching target depth. I notice at the moment there are 2 PSV (support vessels) alongside the Saipem - May I imagine they would migrate up to 20-30 drilling crew off/on (Saipem) per journey. Just wondering, am I anywhere near or are my numbers way out? Anyone? | stealbulls
18/4/2018 15:55 | Be aware that what advfn show as sells, are in fact buys because my buy of 19875 is showing in the sell column. | rayrac
18/4/2018 15:14 | Yeah, the first 1102 meters was like a knife through butter or water even ;-) | jimarilo
18/4/2018 09:19 | Good find - so indicated water depth 1115m, actual 1102m - total planned depth 3175m (could go deeper indicated). We believe that although the spud went to plan there may have been some early delays at the installation point of the 'blowout preventers' (BOP's) - so playing catch up. It is believed that the actual average progress is around 45-55m per day. From recent satellite images, these could indicate that there's currently a cloud of condensate (gas) being emitted from in or around the Saipem. Really could do with an interim RNS! Note - other than the water depths, all other information is just from speculation and not from any official release from any of the drilling partners. Please DYOR. | stealbulls
18/4/2018 08:34 | If they do strike, then they who hesitates, will rue the day...me among the many, although I do have a relatively small position. I’m tempted to add. :) | rayrac
