Still think char did the right thing, should have raised cash a bit earlier but they had to put foot down. Now they are funded for 3 wells..

Unfortunately when companies undertake placings and open offers at a discount to the pre placing price, the share price in the run up to the issue of the new shares nearly always finds its way close to the new issue price. In Chariots case it’s 13p. The share price will correct after the new issue completes.

Gotta be the most undervalued oil play on the Markets.

You have ENi drilling away, there's NOTHING in the price for any success nor the ground held in Brazil,Namibia and Morocco.

Agree and fwiw our 10% share of the prospect is seen as neutral/slightly negative.

This is to completely miss the point namely that a liquids discovery radically derisks contiguous plays, prospects.

Success here I believe will propel the share price into orbit as super majors scramble for our acreage.

Jimmy on iii:I have listened to Larry conference call and read the presentation.Obviously there are a lot of very technical matters discussed which have greatly clarified the geology and the potential of the current well and it's implications for surrounding exploration potential. Overall, Larry did a pretty good job explaining the situation.I will not go through the presentation but just comment on some new information.1. We now have some information on the seabed coring program. This is really important as oil leaks very slowly from its source rock. This can often seep to the surface and on the seabed cause a pock mark in the surface that can be seen on seismic. If samples are taken from the seabed they can be tested for traces of oil. Which has been done.these oil traces can be analyzed and determined the age and nature of the source rock. We now have a good data to support the presence of oil source rocks, from which the techies can model the migration of the oil into oil prospects. This looks really good.2. The reservoir we are targeting are carbonate reservoirs which are very different from the usual sand reservoirs. One feature that can improve the flowing properties of the rock is if such rock is cracked with faults, the good news that the geological feature seems to have been inverted at some stage and this has caused the development of flower faults which are now shown on the maps. This looks very promising.Very much looking forward to the results of this well. Eni have a great success rate.Jimmy

No disputing that neo ,all the way 50p plus on RD1 success ,but short term before results I see this trading between 13-15p, leaving PIs and iis locked in for the drill unless they sell at these prices.

Thanks SQUIB. But I’ve been around long enough to know it’s all about the drill bit and what they find with it.

I hold the shares, but if they fail in Morocco, then ill sell...at a loss. I’m not hanging around for Namibia!

Rayrac you asked about cos.
Wheepo posted this last year on iii

“Chance of Success” – An estimate of the chance of all the elements within a hydrocarbon prospect working, described as a probability. High risk prospects have a less than 10% chance of working (10% COS), medium risk prospects 10-20% (COS), low risk prospects over 20%(COS). Typically about 40% of wells recently drilled with COS higher than 20% find commercial hydrocarbons. (or “POS")

The JP1 well is listed in Chariots 2016 company overview, which was available to investors at the 2016 AGM as a 24% COS. If anyone wishes to confirm this, please email the company.

Typically 40% of wells drilled with a COS higher than 20% ( classed as low risk in exploration terms) encounter commercial hydrocarbons .

The only way this will go to 21p is on a strike. Too many shares, too little time , frenzy of selling,....just can't see it tbh

If it fails with this one, then you can kiss goodbye to 75% of the present mc. Because I certainly wouldnt hang my hat on Namibia!

I do hold btw, but only a small punt. You just never know, because the big boys are keen.
