The Open Offer has a 41% take up so some further money has been raised at the same price as the Placing. I am pleased that I had the opportunity to increase my holding at the same price as the Placing and I commend the company for giving existing holders that opportunity. I took mine up and a few extra as well and now look forward to the share price heading back in the direction of the 20p it was at prior to the Placing. Looking forward to some drilling success!

Huge RNS from Serabi Mining SRB

15 million USD investment at the current Share Price, to a single investor. Very low valuation considering its level of gold output. Results this month, last November showed a huge jump in cash to over 9.7 million USD. Rerate now undeway, and stock in very short supply.

Up almost 30% already....

This used to be such a quiet board but now we seem to have people who do not understand the first thing about investing or oil companies.
A placing at 13p means someone has promised to pay 13p.
The COS is calculated using adjacent blocks history as well as all the seismic. None of the adjacent blocks have been drilled which leads to no history. Do you think they discovered oil in Saudi Arabia by giving up because there was no history of oil?
Short all you like. I wish you luck. You can even borrow my 500k holding.

Much to much pessimism on this thread. Ive taken up my full entitlement knowing the risk. Of course the shares will be much lower if this drill fails, but thats the known consequence of following the small oil sector.

I think the odds are good enough for a decent bet!

Viking ,why wouldnt you short when theres 74% chance of a failure.It doesn't matter if the iis don't want to sell for less than 13p ,if tgeres no buyers then whats their option unless they are all committed to the drill which i doubt very much.Where will the buyers come from unless there is positive news for CHAR pre RD1 results?if there are no buyers now at 13p then why will there be buyers higher once iis have their shares .There is more selling to come imo when shareholders realise this isn't rising ,lots won't want to commit everything to the drill .

Great idea shorting when we are drilling for lots of oil. Do you really think institutions who have just paid 13p will be selling for less?

When the new guzzillion shares hit the market this has got to go lower surely ,the MMs can't sell many at 13 now so the only way is down imo.I wonder how many are shorting this with with the upcoming drill results.plenty of downward pressure coming ......but we are fully funded at least !

JohotaLittle you know so you think it will trade less than cash. Even though they have the namibian asset which has decent cos.Assets like the one in Namibia is valuable, should they have farmed out they may have got free carry but given away most their share, but then in essence 20m would be saved to drill.Duster might test 10p but strike can see this near 50p in morocco..

The new shares have not found a home with ii , so one must assume they are still with the bucket shops , stay well clear until results of drill are in , 6p for certain on duster news.
