A presentation to analysts is a good re-launch of what could be a very busy period of news.

If we assume that there is no skulduggery other than PB/BP not releasing Nimrod data (as is their right) and we take LB's rns of 21st Dec 2012 at face value, then Chariot management tee-ing up a presentation to analysts before the run of news is absolutely the right thing to do.

The Analysts will hopefully do their stuff and we only need one good size II to take an interest and our days of languish are over.

However, after so long in the doldrums, I am beginning to think it will never end!

I agree. Chariot do review periodically - but the one I had showed some discrepancies in the top 10 holdings which I pointed out. Chariot are in contact with the registrar to resolve. I guess the focus at moment is on the presentation on Tuesday...

Surely Chariot management get sight of the share register periodically? They are powerless to look behind the nominee status of shareholding, I'd have thought. It is up to holders to declare their interest, iirc.

I think Chariot is a popular share for traders despite the apparent lack of volatility. The cash position gives a certain underlying strength to the price so larger positions may be taken, I suppose. Much of the high share turnover is just traders screwing down weak holders... and then a bit of manipulation too :)

Hi Triples - its for the 200,641,135 in the register on the specified date.

The 175M is what goes through Euroclear in de-materialsed (electronic) form..

Some guy on LSE reckons I said there was a broker report on 19th. I said there was a presentation to analysts on the 19th....just so we are clear :-) they are different things. Whether one leads to the other is another question..!

Just had a another look at the share register - snapshot..21st Jan.

1309 Entries.

Of the top 300 entries by holding totalling 98.09% of shares.

32 Individual names
12 company names without the word nominee in it
256 with the word nominee in it

Go figure - you can hide a lot of action via nominee accounts.

Pure manipulation today...they did the same on 888 the other week - I held on - then it went up 20% ;-) I had been following 888 every day for three years so was used to the tricks...! LOL
