hdenandy,

short term you are better off at the moment, but I am looking LT.Should the sp,as I expect, double or treble or more from these levels over the next 6/12 months, lets see who is better off then shall we.

Well done selling at the top and buying back at the bottom.Next time tell us when you sell at the time and not after the share price has dropped back.Cheers.

Good luck.

Suggest you read back then, and you will see that I did indeed post, both when I was buying, and when I sold.
And at the risk of repeating myself, I am long, like you.
The difference is I will continue to trade in reality, not hopes and dreams.

Stressing?lol

I am after £1.35p,not 35p.Anyone who is stressing should stick to the lottery or premium bonds. To attain LARGE GAINS one has to hold the drops also, because you see, such as you will be long gone at 34/35p next time around, you are,my friend,a certain seller after a few pence rise.If you're happy with that, good for you.

I was a seller at 34.5p as that meant banking a profit of around 23% from my buys at the 27p level.
That profit was based on reality.
Trade what you see, not what you wish for, hope for or dream of.

I have since re-bought at 31.5p, and so am again as long as you are.
Am I better off having sold and re-bought or not ?

i am no chart expert but there is the possibility of a upside down head and shoulders when you look at the chart...

so maybe a move to £1.20 this year, followed by a dip back to 70-80p and back up to £2 ish..

triples,

sounds like a good plan.

My aim is always to try and get into a vastly undervalued share with large potential, as low as possible.Hold until it at least doubles, hopefully, then sell half and let the rest run until I see fit.If the overall story remains in tact I do not fear falls,I see them as par for the course on the road to a much higher share price.I always see the STerm/Weak holders fall by the wayside, normally on the first BREAK upwards as they are gone after a few pence rise and don't want to pay more than they sold for. They then look back in 6 months or a years time and the share price has doubled.Whereas I WILL still be holding.

Each to their own though as long as they aren't HOT just after they have bought and miraculously COLD just after they have sold.

fe11,

I have found that once I start selling from my main pot of shares for smallish profits, it can be hard to get back in and I can end up chasing the price. I don't do this any more, eventhough I can rue missed opportunities like the one that hdenandy made use of.

My tack with Chariot is two fold: (1) a lump of shares that I DO NOT TOUCH - these are in two SIPPs and await the takeover, and (2) a trading pot, way smaller, that I trade in and out with for a bit of pin money.

I buy shares for different reasons.

However, experience has taught me to keep an eye on the technicals, as shares seldomly travel up, or down, in a straight line.

Often, profits need to be banked before they dwindle or turn into a loss.

Ask anyone that bought around 32p last week and is now stressing because they didn't bank a 10% profit on Tuesday morning.

Looks like I was lucky then in re-buying those I sold on Tuesday at 34.5p back yesterday at 31.5p.
Although after months of hovering around 28p, it was obvious the jump up to 35p happened a little too quickly.
Remember it takes just a couple of seconds to push the sell button, and the same with the buy button.

Well it looks like they've been playing tactics today - up a bit, down a bit, shake them all out a bit....lol. Although judging by the volume, it appears they did not succeed.

On a more serious note - it took months to get through the 50day EMA and now it certainly appears to be providing some solid support. I would suggest 30p will be the lowest this will go Thur/Fri, and as Triples says IF YOU ARE LUCKY.
