Does anyone know when the next AGM is.

I going along.

Will be protesting about Larry's salary, as he is working for BP, they should pay it, not CHAR.

WG - C10B is as mad as CEOBOB in a different way and certainly blows with the wind.

I recommend steering away from the loons - and listen to the more rational thoughts on III. Jimmy, Tarles, Theoryman, Jambo in Africa. I have - and its great - they have opposing views often, some are more logical/rational types, others more analysis prone, and others still more gut feel.Between them...they are a good source of rational healthy unemotional debate.

Oh and BTW - Larry does not read this BB....but if you want to contact him = LarryB@Chariotoilandgas.com - and ask him. Feel free to post his response.

Come on Larry, say something.

Or has your old BP bosses told you to say nothing.

Don't worry, you will get a payoff like PW.

Because they know to stay away until bp have finished playing their hand. Up until macondo, £1 out of £6 of all uk divi's was paid out by bp. Bp have massive influence.

The ii's won't move in until bp have finished acquiring assets, the same happened in the Gulf of Mexico.

The games will have finished by the grand national.

WG - please do not turn into CEOBOB - I no longer read anything he posts.

Jimmy:

"when the logged well results are integrated with the 3D seismic it is possible to reprocess the seismic, using seismic inversion techniques, to find the excellent reservoir area."

This latter paragraph is factually correct and standard industry practice. Jimmy is on the nail. Plenty of references to this practice.

HRT = BP.

Are they the hidden farm in partner.

Take £1.

You won't get more.

Someone said on this thread, it is the company that holds the licences, has the aces.
Ok, CHAR has the licences, but BP/Larry Bagman control CHAR.

"It is the nature of such reservoir sands that some areas would be poor and some areas would be excellent reservoirs."

Can we have the source reference please, or was it Larry the bagman.

All lies, put out by BP.

No one knows, what was in Nimmrod drill, but you.

Comedy post, pure comedy.

JIMMY III:

The Nimrod well results from the K1 well reported that all the ingredients for an oil discovery were present except that the reservoir was poorly developed at the well location.

Subsequent commentary by Chariot has stated that the reservoir that was encountered was a deltaic/fluvial reservoir.

It is the nature of such reservoir sands that some areas would be poor and some areas would be excellent reservoirs.

What I find very exciting is that when the logged well results are integrated with the 3D seismic it is possible to reprocess the seismic, using seismic inversion techniques, to find the excellent reservoir area.

The Nimrod prospect is circa 500 Km sq in size and now has a proven source rock, seal and a reservoir which is poor at the well location. Just south f the Namibian South African border lies the Ibehusi gas discovery, which encountered hydrocarbons when first drilled but had a poor fluvial/ deltaic reservoir. Using seismic inversion techniques they found the high performance reservoir sections in the prospect.

Please see the technical paper :

The follow up wells had an 80% success rate.

Now if Petrobas had released the technical details of the Nimrod well, competitors could have used that data along with the 2D seismic lines over the Nimrod area, which can be easily purchased, to highlight the similar potential in nearby blocks. That would have put potential investors in nearby blocks such as BP and PB at a severe disadvantage in their negotiations. Hence the limited data released.

Nimrod is a giant prospect, there is going to be good reservoir somewhere in such a giant prospect area.

Proactive Investors think that Tower Resources is worth £60m+ based on their acreage and farm in agreements. It just shows how undervalued CHAR is, we have better acreage, we have good quality seismic information, which will no doubt get better with the information from Tapir and Nimrod and a much healthier bank balance. We also have Mauritania and Morocco.

Tower Resources (LON:TRP) – Action!: Tower's announcement that the farmin to its 0010 licence has been completed is a welcome step forward for the Company, as it now starts the next stage of the exploration in planning the Welwitschia well. With drilling now expected in the next 12 months, we believe a lot will be dependent on Repsol's drilling priorities. While we see a slim prospect of drilling in the acreage in 2013, there is a lot of activity in the wider basin in 2013, which will have some measure of read through to Tower, and will certainly help their consortia to plan its well better. At this stage we are reiterating our BUY Recommendation and 5p Target Price.

In this news:

• Under the terms of the farmout agreement, Neptune has now released escrow funds of approximately $5.3mm to reimburse Arcadia for 30% of Arcadia's past costs on the Licence and Neptune will assume 30% of costs from 1 July 2012
• The interests are:
o Repsol 44% (Operator)
o Tower 30%
o Arcadia 26%

Not interested in anything sub £3. It all starts with the license. And you got to have them if you want to take part. Char has the licenses...lots of them. Simple.

Tower namibian news

Tower's CEO, Graeme Thomson, commented:

'We are pleased that the agreements have now been completed. We look forward to updating the market as preparations are progressively made to drill the Welwitschia well on the multi-billion barrel prospect, formerly identified as the Delta structure. Planning for the well is now able to accelerate. Tower's CPR has identified five potential reservoirs within the structure. Tower's potential net risked resource is in excess of 540 million boe.'

Tower's Chairman, Jeremy Asher, added:

'2013 will be a very interesting year for us, with HRT's first well in their Namibian drilling programme commencing in the first quarter and their further wells over the coming months. While we have not yet ruled out commencing a well this year ourselves, the partners in Licence 0010 see many advantages to waiting until early 2014, and are certainly disinclined to pay a premium and hurry preparations for a complex and important well on such an especially attractive prospect. We have over $4 million of cash on hand and no immediate funding requirements. This also allows us to develop some other new business opportunities that we have in the pipeline.
