27/1/2013 10:48 | It says Chariot is a partner to Azinam? I must have missed that! Also Azinam acquired intrests in 13 Namibian petroleum exploration blocks covering 67,000 sq km with interests ranging from 10% to 48%... | hedgebetter
27/1/2013 10:04 | Hi Wg I think CEO Bob is right about 1,2,3 - which in itself is interesting (despite CEO Bob's rambling paranoia it seems). The 4th Step - I have not seen any announcement by the Namibian Government or any Oiler that it is a tight hole...and LB did not mention it in the email response posted on here a few days back... Come on Nimrod!! And I would like to see HRT hit the paydirt as well - good news for all concerned... | hedgebetter
27/1/2013 09:29 | HEDGEBETTER, Cheers. What I am trying to get a handle on is, the information which CEObob is posting on iii. He outlines 4 distinct steps, regarding the information from the Nimrod drill. First it was dry, then non - commercial, then a bit like Texas. 4th step was the hole in some way ( officially) being declared tight. I take your point about it being confidential between, BP, PB and CHAR. But this was always the case. Yep, I also think we will be back drilling Nimmrod again. | ![]() wild_goose
27/1/2013 09:22 | Eco oil and gas presentation - 13/1/2013. Namibia Play. Four Wells Planned in Walvis Basin: - Repsol/Arcadia/ Tower Block 2011A (Q1 2013) - HRT Blocks 2112B 2212A (Q1 2013) - BP Block 1912B Subject to Government approval (Q2 2013) - Chariot Blocks 2312A/B, 2412A "Central Blocks" (H2 2013) | hedgebetter
27/1/2013 09:16 | From the same article;-) He said:"I have worked in Namibia since 1998. I worked for Chariot and also did some work for UNX. With such a history we really understand the Namibian petroleum system. "Nobody knows more about Namibian oil than me and my group," Mello said. Gil Holzman, CEO of Eco Oil & Gas, told an online publication, Proactive Investors, at the Oil Council World Assembly this week that he is gearing up for a busy and exciting period in Namibia, a region he dubbed one of the last great oil frontiers. "Neighbour HRT should tell us a little about the area's potential when drilling gets underway early next year," he said repo | lanaken
27/1/2013 08:24 | From here and now on iii: Raises Namibia oil and gas estimates by 6%. Despite two dry wells recorded this year offshore Namibia by a confident Chariot, Brazilian independent Oil and Gas company, HRT, has audaciously claimed a 6% increase in its resource estimate in four of its Namibian prospecting licences. In an interview with The Economist last year,CEO Marcio Rocha Mello said HRT believes that the Namibian offshore portfolio is analogous to the ones present in the Campos and Santos Basins which produces the majority of Brazil's crude oil.Mello said at the time that HRT was 100% sure that it will find and produce oil and gas in the Walvis and Namib basins. :-) | hedgebetter
26/1/2013 22:29 | - The Original Aim Admission. (worth putting in the header triples?) It refers to two onshore blocks as well - anyone know what happened to them. The CEO at the time - Kevin Broger is now in deep with HRT at the moment. The document also refers to using HRT a lot. I can only assume that Marcello is confident with his drilling campaign post Nimrod for a reason.... | hedgebetter
26/1/2013 20:08 | 25/1/2013@: Oil-industry consultants DeGolyer and MacNaughton pegged average prospective resources for HRT's offshore acreage in Namibia at 7.4 billion barrels of oil equivalent. Average prospective resources are a preliminary measure used by the industry to indicate oil volumes that could be recovered from undiscovered deposits. | hedgebetter
26/1/2013 19:52 | Its tight in the sense that the information is confidential between BP. Petrobras, and Chariot - who also have the 3-D and can now calibrate off the Nimrod well to improve the 3-D's and hence the target for the next well in that structure. Yes I do believe there will be another drill in that structure...! The Well Logs are valuable information - which with the 3-D's could affect the bargaining position of BP etc when they try an buy up a load of Namibian Acreage. That is also why HRT striking oil would be fantastic and would increase competition in the region...and the value of the acreage. There is oil in Namibia...just a matter of time...and much sooner than we think.. | hedgebetter
26/1/2013 17:39 | Evening all, I have been following the debate on iii. It is posted that Nimrod, is now a tight hole, in that no information will be released about what was found. Is this true, if it is I missed it. Any help help appreciated. | ![]() wild_goose
26/1/2013 16:54 | The amount of info available to PIs pre-internet was minimal. The leverage provided to PIs by dedicated posters with nuggets of info, experience, sensible commentary is a real boon. | ![]() triples

26/1/2013 08:58 | Might like to look at the PTO chart. NEWSFLASH: TODAYS FT PAGE 16. RISERS & FALLERS OVER 1 YEAR [%] 4th Publishing Technology PLC 289.8%. This is a good place to look for your next Apple, Asos, or Google. The signs, [large stock price rise over the last 12 months] is a very good pointer to future growth. Note the above is fourth place out of 2,000 listed shares or in the top 0.2%. Also note the last 11 RNS news items on Shareholdings are all buys by at least 5 new investors over the last 12 months. Those investors will i think be in for the long term. | ![]() tara7 |
