24/1/2013 21:14 | Actually they would have been short prior to the FSA register, so your only seeing their position after they had to disclose. I expect their shorts would have been opened above a quid, hence the slow closing. The good news is that they are closing and even better news is that they didn't take advantage of the price rise recently to increase their position. | ![]() newswseller
24/1/2013 20:35 | Yes HB OAM would have closed at a loss, by my reckoning. | simonaj30

24/1/2013 12:20 | As I said I thought there would be a pullback if the rise was based on no news and that's proved to be the case. However if HRT had announced a good second phase farmout the price would have rocketed. So I didn't bother trying to be clever and trade it. it wasn't a risk worth taking, imv, looking at the medium and long term potential. Each to their own though and well done to hdeandy! repo | lanaken
24/1/2013 12:10 | No crystal ball mate, just experience in reading the charts, not the stars ! Anyway, good luck with your strategy. If you are happy with what you do then that is all that matters. p.s. I sold before the top seeing as it reached 35.5p shortly after, so I'm afaid I'm not as perfect as you suggest ! | hdenandy
24/1/2013 12:00 | hden, I don't need to look back thanks. Its enough to read that you knew when the top was and again where the bottom was, when of course you only know that AFTER they've been and gone. Can I borrow your crystal ball for a week or two?:-) Cheers. | ![]() fairenough11 |
