23/5/2019 13:10 | Here's one for you jpj, nothing to do with CNA but the headline doesn't do them any favours.Have you heard of "google" ?, try it sometime and you will see I've been fair with what I've been posting up. No need to deramp this, not my style, Conn et al are doing a fine job of that thank you very much.https://www.eur | discodave4
23/5/2019 13:07 | jpjI can read you know, only just, but prefer numbers!.I post up any news, positive or negative.Have a good day :) | discodave4
23/5/2019 12:57 | Hi Nortic, yes it does seem whatever company you have its grim today. Where this one will go is anybody's guess. You only have to look at the charts on here . How far this will go down before reversing is anybody's guess. DiscoDave loves keep rubbing it in thinking it will go lower to make more money for him shorting. If he can make some money good for him but just keep putting negative things on CNA just rubs the chaps up the wrong way. Just greed I suppose, not giving a toss about the chaps who still have these at 2 pound +. I expect he will make his money then go onto another company and run that one down. He's be very naive if he thinks writing on here influences the SP, there's only a handful of people who ever read these | jpjohn1
23/5/2019 12:54 | Extract from article today, Cityam/II. | discodave4
23/5/2019 12:53 | "We'll get a much better picture of what's going on under the bonnet when Centrica makes public its half-year results on 30 July.Crucially, Conn promises a strategic update which will include "reflections on the current business portfolio, updated future expectations for the customer-facing divisions and an update to the group's financial framework."His future as CEO may very much depend on what emerges then. There's a growing fear in the City that the annual dividend cannot survive at 12p. For the record, analysts at UBS predict a 50% cut to just 6p for this year. At current prices, that would still put Centrica on a yield of 6.4%." | discodave4
23/5/2019 12:12 | Just spoke a sales trader mate a Jeffries and he said he hasn't seen it this bad in years. | nortic 007

23/5/2019 09:44 | Vodafone was always a good one but it's amazing how everything has turned on it's head. As my friend was saying the other day, it's hard to justify to a Russian oligarchs that you should be investing in zero yield and huge multiples but it seems like the old guard is very much unloved. Just do a Warren Buffett and hold forever !!!! | nortic 007
23/5/2019 09:39 | That takes me back Tim 3... | nortic 007
23/5/2019 09:37 | Nortic 007 Dixons starting to look interesting again near all time lows. Looks cheap but so do many. Still in VOD and its not good either as you say market seems to have gone mad with traditional investment measures no longer valid. I said a while back 90p might be the low here, we will see, certainly due a decent bounce imo. | tim 3

22/5/2019 20:53 | Let's hope that day never comes or Venezuela might not be such a bad place to live !!! Take a really good look at the FTSE 100 today. It's absolute carnage out there. We are not alone here and we just have to stick it out.I was talking to a good friend of mine that runs a successful hedge fund that I've been invested in over the years. The fund recently has started to fluctuate widely because the whole dynamics of investing has changed over the years. He has stocks on PE's of 4 that are not performing and then on the flip side you have the Ocado's and the Diageo's plus many other on ridiculous multiples that he simply can't justify to his clients. The world gone mad !!!! | nortic 007
22/5/2019 20:38 | So market value can be 94p or create a downward spiral and then buy it at 1p market value... | diku
