23/5/2019 22:05 | Try DGOC, it's the only one of my shares that is blue. | poleaxe
23/5/2019 21:23 | I agree whatsup, this is the reason I will not buy into TUI. Telecoms BT & Vodafone are cheap at the moment , but still don't tempt me with buying 5G licenses . Glencore my old favorite ( no stamp duty ) has dropped from about about 340p in the last month. It is a job to know what to go for. Have a stake in Barclays at the moment, down a bit from purchase price | jpjohn1
23/5/2019 20:39 | JP... Tui have 737Max parked up due to Boeing grounding and they were due to receive another 6? In a few months time. My understanding is the grounding of 737Max May continue for a very long time and safety agencies in EU and China will no longer rubber stamp FAA findings and will want to re-certify them selves. This will cost them about €300 million at a guess if this continues for another 4 months. Consider Aviva , solid company , good balance sheet , stable future earnings , I’m in at 478p they are currently around 410p. FYI. All my holdings here are down , so you may not want to put too much weight on my say so | whatsup32
23/5/2019 19:34 | diku, are you going for the biggest plonker on the ADVFN site. Put your brain in gear for a change and think what you are saying for once ! For a start, yes I did help the chap ( I have know for 30 years ). The next thing is I don't boast about anything. I was saying, try to look at the bright side of things, never all the negatives . I mention 3 companies I was holding and feel fortunate that I'm not holding them now because I sold them and if I had kept them all I would losing a fortune . Please put your brain in gear before making any more stupid comments or trying to run somebody down | jpjohn1

23/5/2019 14:43 | What happened to the other 13 companies in his portfolio?...and what colour was he before he went white?... jpjohn123 May '19 - 13:44 - 19071 of 19074 0 2 0 Yes I'm all for anybody making money, good for them. Just feel sorry for the chaps who bought this at the wrong price in hindsight . I use to work with a chap who had about 15 companies in his portfolio . I remember two of them went bust and he lost nearly all his money, and he was in a terrible almost suicidal state. Years later he always looked depressed and if anybody mentioned the stock market he went white. Don't wish that on anybody | diku
23/5/2019 14:39 | Looks better every day. All it seems to do is go down | whatsup32

23/5/2019 14:22 | I added more Aviva and Tui and losing on both at pixel. Looking at Aviva recommendations, dividend history and their money in the bank I just couldn’t resist it . Even though I’m losing on them, plan to add more next week. Even Tui , half price what they were . Fortunately I have Microsoft from golden olden days that doesn’t seem to know when to stop . | whatsup32
