If the share price of SSE was hitting record highs I would be more concerned about Conn’s performance to date but it’s not, it’s like blaming the skipper of the boat for hurricane season.

Ticking up a little this morning... but we've seen this quite a lot lately haven't we. A move up in the morning then on with the relentless selling for the rest of the day. Seems to be a pattern now.

A lot of those warranties become invalid if you don’t get the boiler serviced annually, Homecare include an annual boiler service so for some people it makes sense.

Hi Mercer,He's had 4 years and his plans are not working. It was his decision to have the 69% stake in Spirit only two years ago and now looking to reduce the stake. It was his decision to increase customer tariffs to offset price cap and hence suffered a mass customer exodus, he is incompetent. All the best

i would vote for Conn to stay, he needs to finish what he started
then be judged.

the lower this goes, it could end up being one of the best
opportunities on the ftse for anyone buying the lows

this could end up being, the stock you can buy and hold for 5 years
and just keep reaping the rewards.

now we have momentum traders taking the share price South, the same will happen when
it turns North...

Some of the newer boilers now come with a 5 or 7 or 10 year warranty...no need to have Homecare policy?...

Conn leaving won’t make Corbyn, the competition,Brexit or the regulators disappear, I’d rather he was given time to see if his plans for Centrica might actually work.

Conn will go just like Patterson of BT, major shareholders will be questioning what is going to be done about this crazy share price drop.

With mega companies how easy is it for the CEO to cut a bit of fat here and there to boost the figures...and then rip the rewards...

Just posted a fact, a fact that clearly two saddo stalkers don't want to hear. Guys you need help, seriously, stalking me all over ADVFN is a sad reflection on you not me. Neither of you (and I know who you are now) have the guts to confront me. Until I decide to close my short position (now 17 pips and counting) I will keep on posting on here, will keep on posting facts and will keep on posting my opinions supported by facts. All the best xx

Why do we bother about Conns renumeration?
He earns less than a top footballer who is of little importance.

As long as he does a good job, that is all that matters.

Pre pack for CNA?
Come come, you are losing it altogether.
(Unless you are short.)

I heard a similar rumour that Apple and Google had never considered a pre pack either.

Reading all re Conn’s remuneration and the replies, whilst runn8ng a business the order of important of stakeholders in the business I adhered to was

Clients/ Customers
Staff
Shareholders
Directors

Looking at things in this order brings in my view success . With regret not what we are seeing here

Listening to Conn in pursuit of his long term strategy a few weeks ago, I was not alarmed.
He said the dividend depended on cash flow which he implied was ok.
Also he purchased a significant number of shares which sends a signal.
