Half year result on 31st July should show , in my opinion, a spike in earnings due to 164 new electric cars being sold each day.

I think a lot will depend on what happens at Chequers tomorrow and the fallout over the weekend. Individual companies will be side issues if the government falls apart. Also, important meeting today between Theresa and Angela (M&M).

I’ll stick my neck out & say that 160p level seems to have been broken, Centrica pulverised that nut, I’m looking no further than 170p now, I’m sure more positive news is coming but I’m taking nothing for granted GLA

Diku - that is where Trump should be buried ... He is a nutter and has even apparently enquired about invading Venezuela.

"Overnight, US President Trump was reported to have asked his aides why he couldn’t invade Venezuela, having earlier also publicly threatened Middle East oil producers with a withdrawal of the US defence umbrella if they will not lower oil prices. Iran, meanwhile has hinted it might block the Straits of Hormuz."

Whatsup - would you be happy with a world war if it helped the SP?

For the record I have recently bought a small number of these shares, having both won and lost (more the latter) in their headier days.

It looks like Trump is determined to cut Iran’s oil exports to zero . That should help the price of oil which should help CNA . Wasn’t there a report that they had more oil reserves then thought.

Jeremy Corbyn must back second referendum is the article unions are pushing for it UNITE ‘seems’ to be backing it. And if unite is backing it then it’s a done deal.

If there is a second referendum my thinking is it will be tied to a general election with labour saying they back another referendum.

With the conservatives in disarray General Election may not be so far of.

I held SSE for 3 weeks and 3 times it went 1% positive only to go 1% odd negative . As soon as I sell the ruddy thing it continues climbing . Sod’s law.

I decided to buy Persimmon. They have a trading update tomorrow, fingers crossed. I noticed Premier and know all too well how you feel.

You were right about the markets in general whatsup, flat as Colombian street party with the US markets closed, I should have held off buying Premier Oil or added more Centrica, it is annoying when you do sell & the price keeps going up but you’re in good company, I’m sure everyone gets caught out sooner or later,I did with Tesco, it will pass after a couple of months :) maybe a stiff whiskey 🥃 will help
