02/7/2018 14:10 | Sold and bought Vodafone then sold that and bought SSE . Holding SSE at break even . They are due to go xdiv towards end of this month so I thought it may have a decent run up that hasn’t materialised yet. Yep. Breaking even is a good thing :) | whatsup32
02/7/2018 13:16 | Are you not holding anymore whatsup? I reduced, bought into Barclays & Tullow, they both turned against me so I sold & bought back in here for practically what I sold at, I’m no better or worse off which I look at as a result. | mercer95

02/7/2018 09:38 | I agree masterblaster, unless you’re a drug baron living in Columbia the yield Centrica gives does stand out IMO The dividend was cut recently as well, combined with cost cutting measures & market sentiment improving another dividend cut won’t be happening. Utility companies are in the re-order business,Direct Debits, like mortgage payments & council tax,the demand is steady its the customer base that changes,no doubt it will take time, no easy money around at the moment. | mercer95
02/7/2018 09:00 | Where can you get 5 to 7.5% return on your money, provided you can hold and not have to sell | masterblaster
02/7/2018 08:55 | As i have stated imo the s.p.will reach at least £2.40 | masterblaster
02/7/2018 08:54 | Potty/Mr Magoo is usually 4 days behind everyone else | mercer95
02/7/2018 08:49 | Yes Marky I think 180 is easily doable either at the end of the week or month. We've waited 5 years for this breakout I don't mind waiting a little. There is a real chance folk will miss the best bargain prices . It's not going to stay around 160 for long....All in my very humble opinion. For a little security I suppose I'd advise buying any dips but it's very possible it may just keep going straight up. | mitchy
02/7/2018 08:44 | Tanker - I'd change brokers - it should have been there last Thursday. | skinny

02/7/2018 08:23 | Centrica was due a pullback IMO maybe not such a bad thing it is happening when the markets are getting bearish about the trade war,I’m gonna keep holding here GLA | mercer95
02/7/2018 08:13 | At 7.5% divi it's at the bargain price. | mitchy
02/7/2018 08:11 | Remember ,164 new electric car owners a day buying our products and that number is only going to grow.Tesla now producing 5000 cars a month. | mitchy
02/7/2018 08:06 | It’s a positive start, hopefully a positive finish. With the trade wars looking likely to kick of , I’m thinking trade wise utilities will be immune to any upheaval. | whatsup32
02/7/2018 07:57 | 180p by the close on Fri? Good luck. | mitchy

01/7/2018 22:14 | Still think the EU will come worse off whatsup . They do put large Tariffs on USA goods, and until they ease them on the USA they will still there ground. 01/7/2018 21:27 | EU is threatening USA with €300 billion import tariffs in retaliation for car duty’s from EU to USA .Wonder how the markets will react to that | whatsup32 |
