01/7/2018 22:14 | Still think the EU will come worse off whatsup . They do put large Tariffs on USA goods, and until they ease them on the USA they will still there ground. I have the FT at the moment at -11 to start with but that can change a lot. Enjoy Scotland it's got some beautiful scenery , not been there for 45 years, I must get up there again :) | jpjohn1
01/7/2018 21:27 | EU is threatening USA with €300 billion import tariffs in retaliation for car duty’s from EU to USA .Wonder how the markets will react to that | whatsup32
01/7/2018 20:49 | If May decides to go with the Remainers side the leavers side ( Boris, Gove, Fox ) will have to resign to keep face. If they did not I do not think they could look the public in the eye for being trusted again | jpjohn1
01/7/2018 20:25 | Interesting times. The UK media portray us as on a hiding to nothing. For goodness sake we need some bloody confidence. The UK has alot going for it and cards to play. I dont know if its the civil services mission to constantly spew out negative news to limit ambition. The civil service after all run tge country and they very much want to stay in the EU. | supermarky
01/7/2018 20:12 | In the next week we will see where we are going coming out of the EU. IMO the EU will not give us a good deal, if they did it would be like a deck of cards country's wanting to leave the EU and it would collapse. I think they would rather take a hit than destroy it. A lot will depend on May. If she decides to take the Remain side, ( Hammond etc) I think there will be resignations on the leave side, this will make Rees-Mogg bring a no confidence in her. There are 60, they only need 40. She is already threatening both sides that Corbyn will get in with a big stick. Interesting to see this outcome | jpjohn1
01/7/2018 18:49 | There’s been some negative press about HMRC & pensions over the weekend, errors in pay outs & accusations of being overly complicated so you can’t really make comparisons, same old rip off they did with mortgages,PPI,hidden costs & charges, reducing returns ,the repeated use of “churning̶ | mercer95
01/7/2018 16:31 | Sorry whatsup, I meant on Tv, I don't know anybody famous :) | jpjohn1

01/7/2018 11:25 | Dividend covered. Broker upgrades. Oil price increasing. Positive sentiment returning. Imo £2.40 would be fair value and would still give a yield of 5% | masterblaster
30/6/2018 21:28 | Yes iceman, I sold 48k of my shares here, (still have 50k) some of the money I bought Lloyds. Since then they have gone down 2.5p from purchase price and these have gone up well. I have made a couple of thousand in no stamp duty shares to make up a bit of that loss. If I had left the total 98k I had, I would be better off on paper left here so I will be the first to hold my hands up and say I got it wrong here, like I said we don't get it correct all the time | jpjohn1

30/6/2018 17:34 | Shares closed the gap from some time ago. Currently showing negative divergence on momentum, so wouldn't be surprised if the shares don't fall back to the low 150s before resuming their uptrend. | kirtonender9
30/6/2018 14:29 | Energy customers paying £52 more each year after 21 price increaseshttps://uk. | losses

30/6/2018 09:09 | Action. Agreed but not good for economy in general. Higher costs for businesses and consumers. | m4rtinu
