Fear the new entrant "Peoples energy". All profits go back to customers. And you never have to change suppliers again because you are on a competitive rate all the time. Only one Tariff. Have a look get a quote see for your self. Only been going 10 months over 10000 customers.

I’m gonna just keep on holding, the market makers will have to move the price up again soon & I still reckon financials & oil sectors are higher risk options at the moment.In Conn we trust GLA

Jefferies has raised its recommendation on British Gas-owner Centrica (CNA) following 'material' upgrades to earnings on the back of recent oil price rises.Analyst Ahmed Farman upped Centrica from 'hold' to 'buy' and lifted his target price from 140p to 165p on the stock, which gained 3.4%, or 4.9p, to 149.5p.'While the stock has been in value territory for the last six months, we have remained on the sidelines with Centrica due to subdued earnings momentum,' he said.'We now see material earnings upgrades as likely with the recent rally in power, gas, and oil prices.'Farman added that the recent Ofgem consultation about whether to introduce a price cap was 'unlikely' and 'Centrica's ability to strengthen its balance sheet and crystallise value with disposals remains underappreciated'.Photo 2 of 6

Though on reflection would prefer to see a further reduction in debt....or perhaps a combination of the two.

My guess is that the next report will show a jump in profits due to higher oil prices and increased electric car sales. BUT the overall conditions remain 'competitive and challenging '.

I had a buy order in at 120p a few months back but never got filled. Glad to see these recovering as I know there are a few long-suffering holders here.

sold at 149.2, 6 % return ,very modest but safe profit,still waiting for divi payment good luck to all holders, if however share price drops to 120 level i shall return:)

Lets hope we can end the week north of £1.50 There are so many positives with fewer negatives that imo we will soon see the s.p.back around the £1.80 area
