Just watching Phillip Hammond on TV. Just thought, if he ever needed a new job, he looks rather like the Smoking Man in The X Files, so if they needed a face double for older scenes, here's there man. :)

I suppose if we look at the good side of things when it comes to the dividend, even if the share price stays like this until Ex Div date, the drop of 8.4p on the share won't be a bad thing as we're already used to it, just depends on how high the share price has gone by then.

If it stays in the 1.40's until then, then buying some more at 1.30's could be a no brainer, but if the shares are reaching 1.60's by then(Yeah, pigs may fly ;)) then at least it's heading in the right direction.

Yes, I know, and all the other stuff. But at least the Sun is out where I am and staring at the screen all day doesn't help. ;)

Its like watching rugby - keeps looking like a breakthrough but there's just a line of opposition every time to squash it.

imo one by one the brokers/analysts will start issuing higher targets - presumably after anyone connected has bought in. Plus issuing higher targets, once a share appears to have bottomed is much more credible than actually doing some work to figure out a fair value for buying low.

i.e "yes we endorse this and where're doing everything we can to lower prices"...........I alway say " keep your friends close but you're enemies closer".RNS wouldn't do them (CNA) any harm.imho

I wonder if CNA will post a RNS just in response / acknowledgement of Ofgem's proposals ?

Now wouldn't it be funny, that if after all this positivity, that comes April, we're all still having the same conversation?

Seriously, I am all for the Price rise happening so come April we'll see if our Tunes have changed for the better. :)

I'm at 1.87 just to break even susiebe, so a long way to go but with Divs being kept till 2020 not to worried. I think we all agree this is very slow moving share at times when you have such a long way just to break even. Unfortunately I have gone from having my finger on the button to walk away and see where it is in the summertime
