22/5/2023 14:37 | Vikeshm1 I am with David on this. Mello events are excellent. | robsy2
22/5/2023 13:44 | vikeshm1.....Have you ever attended one? We find that many investors enjoy meeting others, networking, meeting management , listening to quality speakers etc but need to find out that Mello exists so if you have a better way do tell? Centralnic are attending so naturally the right place to find their investors is on these boards. Some investors never leave their screens or just trade in stocks so apologies if you fit that category. I have been running these for years and it is very, very hard work especially through and after the pandemic. | davidosh
22/5/2023 12:08 | Be good when the mello show is over and no more desperate spamming of so many advfn threads. Half price tickets, free tickets, free tickets for the under 25s, guess can't be selling well. | vikeshm1
22/5/2023 10:32 | Just to remind shareholders and prospective investors, CentralNic will be presenting & exhibiting on the 24th of May this week at Mello2023. We have created a two day physical investor conference (23rd & 24th May) at the Clayton Hotel and Conference Centre in Chiswick that will include 15 top quality keynote speakers, 12 educational workshops and panel sessions, 50 exhibiting companies plus over 80 company presentations for investors to evaluate and understand their current or future investments. We will also be hosting a live BASH session, analysing lots of additional companies! For a £25 bonus add-on price delegates at Mello2023 are also invited to make it a three day visit and join us for the Mello2023 Virtual event the day after, Thursday 25th May. Tickets are still available and if you would like one at half price then enter the code MMTADVFN50. | melloteam
21/5/2023 00:28 | Centralnic are presenting in the morning and afternoon on the Wednesday Download everything from here... Tickets are still available and if you would like one at half price then enter the code MMTADVFN50. | davidosh
19/5/2023 17:35 | In value terms a share buy-back should have the same objective as any other investor - i.e. to get the maximum possible number of shares for the money available. | boadicea
19/5/2023 12:11 | Interesting that the buyback has been for fewer shares in the last couple days. After 150k on each of Mon and Tues, it was back down to 67k and 37k on Wed and Thurs. Pleasing with that context that the price has remained stable or inched up slightly. They'll be buying back 3m-3.5m shares so if they run at 400k-500k on a weekly basis, they could have enough firepower to last a couple months. Potentially 3 months if the last couple days are the right yardstick. I think its better for the share price if the SBB is eeked out over a longer period | adamb1978
18/5/2023 18:46 | Here's a recording from a recent AIM IHT webinar with the management: | macc1
18/5/2023 15:02 | At 116p too, rather than below bid. | spectoacc
18/5/2023 15:00 | 2.5m trade this a.m , hopefully thats the seller clearing | yf23_1
18/5/2023 09:59 | I'd like them to actually spread the buy back over longer. So if they think there is demand from other investors to keep the price moving up or even stable, just hold back rather than fire all the bullets asap. It would help the chart articulate a story that the floor has been found | adamb1978
18/5/2023 09:57 | Yeah the chart looks like it doesn’t want to be taken lower than 110p, don’t necessarily want to see this running away while the buybacks are in play. | diesel
18/5/2023 09:07 | Added down here, looks stabilised for now with plenty of upside | doobz
18/5/2023 06:19 | Thanks Seroserio | adamb1978
18/5/2023 06:09 | Good to see Kestrel continuing to buy, alongside the daily buyback. Kestrel now own 23.2%, or 66.3m shares, having bought another 86,000 shares. Hopefully they'll continue buying up to 29.99%! | rivaldo
17/5/2023 19:59 | Uncrossing Trade: During the auction period, there may be a point (or price) at which the best BID and best ASK match and a trade takes place. This trade on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) is known as an Uncrossing Trade. | seroserio
17/5/2023 18:53 | Apologies, but please could you explain a UT to me? | adamb1978
17/5/2023 17:57 | Over half of Tuesday's closing UT appear to have gone to CNIC (35435 out of 68659) at 114p. This evening's UT was larger and cheaper (130048 at 113.4p) not to mention a further 115180 late traded a few seconds after at the same price. I am expecting to see a good proportion of those in an RNS tomorrow morning. Since there seem to be a steady stream of willing (perhaps desparate!) sellers at this knock down price perhaps the company should make a tender offer in the 110-115p range to mop them up. The lower the price, the more shares CNIC get for their (our) money, hopefully to be reissued when they reach Berenberg's valuation as currency in an acquisition. | boadicea

17/5/2023 10:58 | I'm not a chartist but interesting that the price bounced off the 110p sort of level which it reached both last July and last sept, and hopefully it is in the process of doing for a 3rd time. 2.5 days post the Q1 results and things at least looking a bit better since those figures. I think people are starting to under the FCF from this now and there's only a certain amount which you can fight strong cashflows | adamb1978
17/5/2023 10:35 | Berenberg have again reiterated their Buy and 250p valuation: | rivaldo
16/5/2023 16:23 | I think you need another quarter or two of similar FCF figures to the Q1s for that Ali - it needs the narrative to change and that doesnt happen overnight. | adamb1978
16/5/2023 15:06 | even the well versed investors are getting carried away when the share price goes againt the currents of enthusiasm. i will hold but not move until one day the share price shoots up when an update is provided -we need to get sober!!!! | ali47fish
16/5/2023 11:57 | Paul Scott apparently more balanced on his blog today, though understand he said something like no-one understands the model so it needs to be cheap. I dont follow his blog as the quality is hugely variable - lots of shooting from the hip nonsense | adamb1978
16/5/2023 10:38 | New Edison note out this morning increases EPS forecasts slightly to 20.31c this year and 22.68c next year, i.e 16.25p EPS and 18.14p EPS: "CentralNic’s Q123 results showed robust revenue and profit growth, as well as a further deleveraging of its balance sheet. Its product comparison business VGL’s entry into France provides a strong organic growth opportunity, with potential to expand into other regions. The group continues to showcase its commitment to shareholder returns with its latest share buyback programme." "Valuation: Strategic priorities could close discount CentralNic trades at an average 65% discount on EV/sales across FY23e and FY24e, falling to an average discount of 25% on an EV/EBITDA basis. Delivering on its latest strategic priorities could act as a catalyst to stock performance." | rivaldo |
