16/2/2023 08:36 | Certainly starting to look more and more like a bid target here. Flying way under the radar still imo | doobz
16/2/2023 07:21 | CNIC is ridiculously undervalued imho, but fortunately unlike KAPE there's no single shareholder with the power to post a derisory offer....at some point an industry behemoth like GoDaddy or similar will surely pounce here. Good to see in the well-regarded Herald Invstment Trust's Annual Report this morning that CNIC are their 20th largest investment, with a value of £11.6m (£3.5m cost): "CentralNic is a London‐based AIM‐listed company which drives the growth of the global digital economy by developing and managing software platforms allowing businesses globally to buy subscriptions to domain names, used for their own websites and email, as well as for protecting their brands online. These platforms can also be used for distributing domain name related software and services, an opportunity that contributes significantly to CentralNic's organic growth. The Company's inorganic growth strategy is identifying and acquiring cash‐generativ CentralNic operates globally with customers in almost every country in the world. It earns recurring revenues from the worldwide sales of internet domain names and other services on an annual subscription basis." | rivaldo
15/2/2023 11:28 | I agree that it is a relatively steady and well performing stock but it still is too cheap. We will have to wait to see what is in the cards. I also think a divvy would be a bonus. Repurchasing shares does put a bottom on the price but I personally prefer to spend that money on bringing down loans because then the sword cuts on both sides as a positive LT effect. I truly hope we do not get an offer like KAPE, that would be pure humiliation. | grindnship
15/2/2023 10:18 | Contrary to popular opinion, I'd say the CNIC share price is performing quite well- there aren't many on the entire LSE that are hitting 52w highs/ATHs as we did as recently as Jan (or staying so close 10/15% from the late 21/early 22 pre bear market highs) I think value will eventually out- although we have to hope for a better result than with KAPE! | se81
15/2/2023 08:10 | A Divvy policy does draw in certain institutions like pension funds. Also I understand the shares bought back were not cancelled any thoughts? | diesel
15/2/2023 07:45 | Not bothered about any divis, personally, though I can see why some are. Buybacks be better, at least it will absorb the large sellers that are usually frequent here!! | johndoe23
15/2/2023 00:02 | Not all investors hold shares for growth. There are investors who want to invest for dividends and therefore, if CNIC declares a small dividend, it will definitely move the share price. | azaman
14/2/2023 22:32 | Hoping they will reload the buyback with the full year results. | tradertrev
14/2/2023 16:20 | what is it that we don't know? I suppose when we find out it will be too late | slogsweep
14/2/2023 16:20 | I know what you mean, for two years I’ve been in these and there has not been a negative broker/analyst note, and forecasts have been consistently upgraded, so what’s up? The CEO seems to want to return shareholder value so after the temporary gains from the buyback what next? | diesel
14/2/2023 15:25 | Very close to my self imposed stoploss now. Very disappointing as i had high hopes here. Falls almost daily ( except yesterday) which is very worrying. The market rarely gets things wrong imo. | jeanesy
10/2/2023 18:00 | with the buyback finished for now it is looking like there is still a big seller in the market. With good news for over a year now the falls have been relentless and often feel undeserved but the market can be brutal. I would be interested around the 110-120 mark if it falls further. One to trade I feel but I wouldnt be surprised to wake up to a bid at 200p+. Wishing holders well. | pyemckay
10/2/2023 16:47 | Well I called that wrong, but still happy with holding this and will review adding more on Monday. | diesel
10/2/2023 16:04 | Topping up at this price! | sig1978
10/2/2023 15:49 | hsduk101 - I agree the results notice was unusual. I think the word 'pre-close' should have read 'preliminary'. The day corresponds with the unaudited preliminary announcement last year, i.e. last Monday in February. "The Company will publish its unaudited pre-close [sic] report for the financial year ending 31 December 2022 on Monday, 27 February 2023." The pre-close statement was surely the one given on 30th Jan. | boadicea
10/2/2023 15:26 | looks like the fall here is gathering momentum. Why ? | jeanesy
10/2/2023 12:47 | What results will they be. Will it be just a monthly update? | hsduk101
10/2/2023 12:38 | Results 27th feb | erbullion
10/2/2023 11:00 | 100k buy just in I've added today also | jitters3
10/2/2023 10:40 | Diesel - agreed, been a pretty poor week overall considering UK markets seem robust. Added here recently, not concerned in the long term | doobz
10/2/2023 09:55 | Added more today, this has been more of a drift down than a big sell off. We are at a level that has been a resistance several times in the past and I’m guessing that it could be a support now, anyway a year from now I’ll be wishing I’d bought a lot more! | diesel
10/2/2023 08:57 | I suspect we are suffering from the revaluations of some big tech in US, the new CEO’s attempt to return shareholder value has been temporary so far. Maybe a move to the main market and a divvy policy would raise gravitas. | diesel
10/2/2023 08:09 | Sadly for reasons unbeknown to me the market clearly doesn't agree :( | jeanesy
09/2/2023 16:03 | Thanks Rivaldo | gswredland
09/2/2023 14:23 | This presentation by CNIC on 26th Jan - just prior to the trading update - hasn't been posted before. Looks good to me: | rivaldo |
