since end of may caml has gone down approx. 4.5%, whereas copper has risen 11%, lead 7%, and zinc 7%. During this period sterling is about 1.5% higher against the dollar.
The market is up slightly during this period.Mining stocks are also up slightly. Does anybody know the possible reason for this?????

Sold out after the decline and was a tad annoyed to see yesterday's rise which would have seen me break even. But down she goes again. Tempted to buy back. Not sure.

I've achieved my ambition of holding 5,000 shares here in my SIPP thanks to the recent dip in price. The focus on delivering shareholder value is way above anything else I'm invested in.

I'm so impressed that Polar Capital have taken this opportunity to increase their stake, that I've invested in them too. Their dividend yield is almost as good as CAML.

Now I just wait with baited breath for news that the dividend will be re-instated. Would Polar have increased their stake if the dividend was genuinely under threat?

I'm surprised and frustrated that I'm under water here, but this is the best run company I've invested in, so happy to tuck my holding away and wait for the market to recognise just how much value resides here.

Further to my comment several weeks back I bought my 6th and final tranche of shares in CAML first thing this morning. I still live in hope.

Added again today.

Seriously undervalued on most metrics following a circa 25% recovery in the copper price and a circa 10%-15% recovery in the Zinc and Lead price.

As we approach the half year end of June period, coronavirus is still a factor with this stock. North Macedonia and Kazakhstan cases are still climbing. Kounrad operates in the Karaganda region which is reintroducing lockdown in certain parts. Fingers crossed.

Baltic Dry Index - after rising an astonishing 40.7% in two days, yesterday's performance was a more modest rise of 1.83%, taking the index to 1,555.

BDI has risen 297% since the mid May Covid-19 low, and is now up 59% year to date, and 434% since the H1/2016 recession low of the last market cycle.

Despite the very strong recent performance, the BDI still has over 200% upside to its 10 year mean and 659% to the 2008 high of the last shipping/commodity market cycle - which over the last 70 years has an average duration of 17 years, and is currently in year 4 of the latest market cycle.

"690,000 sell at 15.55"

With limited dividends, there will be a lot of forced sellers in the current market.

Copper at the current level had CAML at 220p back in February ....

... so I grabbed a bunch more today.

Reckon they had been offloading that 690,000 for some time, only showed the full deal when they were square, hopefully will see a good move up soon providing markets hold up.
