28/5/2020 10:17 | Skeptic, agreed on no bad option, very tempted to top up again at this price. Copper and zinc looking like demand will pick up for both commodities. My assumption is that they will pay down debt and keep the divi payment at 40 percent FCF at the interims | simplemilltownboy
28/5/2020 10:07 | I think they'll pay down debt instead. No information suggests that the covid pandemic has impacted them so they'd be in a position to pay it, if they felt strongly enough. Neither option is 'bad' imo. | skeptic1
28/5/2020 09:40 | Anyone got thoughts on the dividend, the full year results said o Decision to be revisited pending greater clarity on the impact of the pandemic, given the the world is coming out of lock down, wondering whether the company will boost the next divi or pay off debt quicker. Price of copper looks to have bottomed so onwards and upwards. GLA | simplemilltownboy
26/5/2020 14:37 | Tempted more than a bit here | edjge2

22/5/2020 21:13 | Yep...the divi would good....even if it was partial. | 11_percent
22/5/2020 20:13 | I recently topped up at 130, can't believe the share price at the mo, very tempted to buy more as I can see this heading towards 200p again. Good luck on your buy and hope the divi gets reinstated. | simplemilltownboy
20/5/2020 23:13 | Bought a few.....new for me....ride the copper price back up. | 11_percent
18/5/2020 19:44 | Cheers Melton Thought I'd missed some revolutionary tech. | loafingchard
18/5/2020 19:20 | You won't be the only one with a high average! I'm comfortable with that and don't feel worried, except for the opportunity cost of waiting for this to return to its highs. | skeptic1
18/5/2020 10:03 | Today I bought my 5th bundle of shares in CAML since 2018 but my average cost is still over 2 quid. We live in hope. | martindjzz
16/5/2020 02:16 | Arf Dysg Your presence is badly missed on the DEMG thread It's all gloom and doom without you Their favorite song now is | buywell2
15/5/2020 22:51 | Oh and another thing, the cable underground from the substation to the houses is rated probably on the assumption that everyone connected won't be drawing the full load at the same time. It's called a diversity factor. So that will need an upgrade with outside charging points at the roadside too. | melton john
15/5/2020 15:47 | All I know loafingchard is the greens saying gas central heating is going to be replaced by electric sometime. Together with extra demand for rapid charging points it's going to need a bit more than the 25KW that my supply is rated at. Oven, hob and shower together account for most of that. An alternative would be time switches to separate heavy loads. I had off-peak underfloor heating in a flat years ago, not greatly impressed but my missus could warm her toes under the rug. A bit like being in hospital where you control the temperature by opening windows. | melton john
15/5/2020 11:00 | Melton John, Can you tell us about the electric home heating developments coming down the line ? Underfloor ?Thanks | loafingchard
15/5/2020 08:55 | I'm here, waiting for all this spending on electricity supply infrastructure for home heating and electric vehicle charging. One day Rodney. | melton john
15/5/2020 08:48 | What happened to the community here?! Everybody has vanished!? | skeptic1
14/5/2020 18:44 | Anybody catch the webinar today? Assume it’ll be uploaded at some point but just wondered if there were any highlights | skeptic1
10/5/2020 16:17 | We are hosting a ShareSoc Webinar with Central Asia Metals (CAML) on Thursday which may be of interest: | sharesoc
09/5/2020 14:51 | Filled a boot Thursday .... copper up nicely friday .... when CAML moves hold onto your hats. | keith95
07/5/2020 15:49 | I bought in this morning at 139p, here for a medium to long-term hold hopefully. | arhaych
07/5/2020 11:50 | Why doesn't someone buy CAML? I'm baffled. Valued at £250 m. Net debt end of 2019 of $80m, this year circa $60. EBITDA 90-100m this year. 14 more years production at Kounrad, longer at Sasa. Lower metal priced this year, but increasing production. Local currencies moving in CAML's favour and lower finance costs with rapidly decreading debt. If someone put in a cheeky £2.50 a share bid they might get lucky and steal the company for £430 m. | pughman
07/5/2020 07:46 | Glad you are awake! A friend has recommended PXC, saying it is going to behave just like CAML in the early days, but in a safe environment, maybe going up 10 times, or more. But there’s risk attached, of course. He says that some of the directors speak of how they want to emulate CAML. Can anyone speak of the early days here and how they made their own assessment of the risk? Did you invest for the short term profit, or are there long termers? Any words are appreciated to gather my own thoughts. | goldenlady
07/5/2020 03:53 | It is a long term hold Goldenlady so not that much to say between the odd RNS. Would be nice to see the dividend resume though. Makes the hold much more pleasing while we wait for the next metals bull-run! | lauders |
