Ploughing cash into gold, in whatever form, could pay off. Investors at Bank of America believe prices could reach $3,000 an ounce by the end of 2021.

Some are even more optimistic, with Barry Dawes, executive chairman at Martin Place Securities, predicting it could hit $3,500 within two years.

Whilst someone mentioned Interim ex Div and payment date, I do not recall anyone mentioning the results, which I found via Morningstar.

Having read the numbers, FY results should also be excellent.
CEY has raised its Interim dividend, as pre tax profits more than tripled on stronger gold sales, output and prices. pretax profits grew by 56% y-o-y,to USD 448.8m.
Gold production increased 9% to 256,084oz
Dividend is up 50% at US 6cts.
Annual guidance of 510,000-525,000 has been retained, compared to 480,529oz reported in 2019.
The life of asset review for the Sukari mine is underway, with an update in the next few months, as we continue to strengthen our management team, assess the business with the aim of building a significant and modern gold company.
The company continues to remain unhedged and debt free.

Patience - CEY are a stock and generally drop when the ftse does (yes i know we’re not on the ftse, but data shows correlation more often than not). Gold remains high- fingers crossed for tomorrow- CEY gave a little back today but only realised if you sold

disappointing that CEY has been hit today as gold price higher but might be just profit taking . However , I am relieved I sold half earlier but wish I had sold the lot ! at least BHR applies .

Despite today' p.o.g. CEY's share price has fallen from yesterday's close. Do the MM know something we posters/investors do not know? Why aren't traders buying on this dip.

If the numbers of unemployed rise again this week, it will be for the twentieth straight week.
Unless the Democrats and republicans do not pass a second stimulus package large enough to prop up the vast number of unemployed and those on low incomes, both of whom are facing huge rises in the the prices of ordinary food products, we are going to see violent protests on main street America, that will make the BLM movement, look like a noisy street party. A commentator on You Tube, described the experience of a shopper going to Cosco(?) who spent $600 on food to last the family for 45 days. When he duly returned to the store ;and bought a similar/same amount of food, the bill came to $1000; forcing him to use his credit card.In a climate where banks are cutting holders credit card limits, this individual was fortunate enough to pay the $400 balance.

Yes Martin, but how bad is bad based on expectations/ what is and is not priced in. On balance my view is remains strong for gold - fingers crossed

Goldies hit today as main indices hit today- as i keep banging on, CEY is a stock not gold. Yesterday gold went nuts but the indices in general also rose. This happens in most cases, but not all. Fingers crossed all holders :-)

thanks stevetrader and I was confusing it with jobless figures due out today which is probably the most important one . maybe that is why gold stocks hit today as gold price still near 2050 level as it bobs up and down .

So my target was 225p but with POG breaking and holding above $2k will this go even higher ? Market tries to look long term but with production on target , AISC falling , solar plant project , untapped resources in Cote D’Ivoire and Burkino Faso ... good dividend return looking nailed on for 2020 ... points to it going higher . All IMHO .
