By my calculations Brexit has added approx 15% premium on CEY compared to other miners. This holds true for varied baskets of large and small miners. Up until Brexit, CEY had been generally falling or steady wrt other miners for the previous 6 months.

Heads up, rns coming drilling commenced.GWMO.Gold explorer, safe jurisdiction of Nevada US. Market cap only £0.9m, with £0.7m cash. Worth a small punt, and hasn't yet risen with other gold stocks. Thousands of acres of highly mineralised gold, copper asset. Great Western mining. GWMO.

No reason to sell when the trend is firmly up :-)

I suppose is hard to call and many like me start to see 120% plus on the investment a reason to sell some or all, but the reason why I am keeping this and hoc is more as insurance/balance of the overall share portfolio than a way to make money,
I suspect this is what is happening with gold and it is anyone guess when this trend will stop.
let see how much more paper gold can be printed before the Chinese start to ask for delivery after all they are buying plenty storage for it and at some point they will want use the space lol

I stand corrected Mr Til - I thought you were referring to when he advised to sell his original tip at 135p, some time before the Arab Spring (and it did subsequently go up).

fishy.......... when the arab spring occurred which turned into a winter !, TW advised to ditch and bail out.......he wrote the company off ......... another misguided TIP.......... anyway water under the bridge.

It's been one hell of a ride, SAW has helped us keep the faith !

Calling it right last year !

And where are all the people now who said it was overbought only a few months ago ?????

Ah, Mr Til, I don't think TW wrote it off. didn't he simply advise to sell at around 135p? And it has been quite a bit lower since.

However, when CEY was at 40p he called it down to 20p if I recall correctly (admittedly the new advocaat may be messing with the old grey stuff!). I never did understand that call which certainly doe look little foolish with hindsight.

Also, all the time he was tipping them on t1ps.com, he said that CEY would be bought out before an ounce was ever produced...seems that didn't work out either!

In overbought territory now but not hugely yet. If gold keeps motoring ther e should be more here before consolidation / retrace . You have to love it

I agree totally jimbowen, they haven't even started to look at monetary policy yet, we're on the cusp, way more to go yet, way way moreI'm looking alot more £ yet

Haughton - never wrong to take a profit, but I think I'll sit back and hold my CEY for another few years. Monetary policy is crazy and unstable, so I suspect gold will go much higher than ($2000+) than most people imagine. What price CEY then? 500p? That said I wouldn't be surprised to see a short term pullback in gold, but given £ weakness I won't be selling out.

Just sold 1/3 of my holding here to lock in some profits.Am expecting a concerted effort to take the steam out of gold in the next day or two.....whereupon I'll put that 1/3 back in.A stellar company.
