29/6/2016 18:05 | Since its already reached my 124p target (the old gap from 2011), I would just take profit whenever you feel comfortable and let the rest run. BTW, 362kg shipped. | ![]() flopticalcube
29/6/2016 17:32 | Re - it's affecting all threads. I think Advfn system went down this afternoon and they rebooted it with yesterday's backup. | ![]() charles clore
29/6/2016 17:26 | It seems there has been a problem re todays input. - Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me? | ![]() rebess4
28/6/2016 19:52 | "I hope so. As rhcm noted, the mine will probably be exhausted before the CC is concluded. When you think about it, just having the threat of Law 32 will stop any future litigation so why not postpone the decision indefinitely?" Interesting point. Whats the sell target? :) | ![]() fangorn2
28/6/2016 19:48 | AdverseKing, Most have already, at least the bigger profitable ones. Those that lag have LOTS of debt so best avoided. Chipperfrd had a thread showing the PE of the bigger players listed in the UK. Fangorn2, I hope so. As rhcm noted, the mine will probably be exhausted before the CC is concluded. When you think about it, just having the threat of Law 32 will stop any future litigation so why not postpone the decision indefinitely? | ![]() flopticalcube
28/6/2016 19:35 | Quelle surprise............ We'll be into our dotage before this is sorted. | ![]() fangorn2

28/6/2016 18:10 | Hi floptical, interesting point you make about PE . Do you know of any other miners which have not caught up yet? | adverseking
28/6/2016 17:51 | Been in since .08 and added up to 50p, average 38p I think, but good old CEY is my best gold share so far. Thanks every one for all the info, especially Silk.... | jonga
28/6/2016 17:22 | Thanks Rebs Almost feels like giving birth with CEY. Contractions come and then stop, one day hopefully we will reach birth with a positive announcement which will send the share price into orbit. Been in since 50p so no complaints from me. By far and away my best share. Case of sit back and wait again. Thanks for the info. | wigancasino
28/6/2016 16:16 | Wigan - hi So far as I know there is no qualification of time. That is to say that no new date for ruling has been announced. - It's now just a question of waiting for the SCC ruling on L32. - If/when L32 is confirmed then that's it, end of story. If L32 is rejected then it's back to the SAC again for ruling based upon the merits of the case. - I don't know why the SAC cannot make a decision on merit in it's own right. - That's the puzzling question. - The only thing I would add is that L32 is currently the Law as it stands and can only be reversed by the pending SCC decision. - If the SCC in their wisdom decide that L32 is unconstitutional then the ramifications will be felt far and wide, it's not just a Centamin thing. There's a whole lot of commercial- activity riding on the outcome. - I hope these thoughts are of help. - cheers. | ![]() rebess4
28/6/2016 15:22 | Is it possible that the SCC will just sit on their decision re Law 32 indefinitely as it is a bit of a hot potato. A reply from the Company that i received a few weeks ago had the following as the last paragraph: In the meantime operations at Sukari continue as normal, as has been the case through the entire court proceedings and as we expect to continue for the duration of the remaining mine life. | ![]() rhcm
28/6/2016 15:18 | I agree Siko. Commissioners' report is where its at for CEY. At this point, however, I don't think a win will have much impact on the share price. PE is now around the same level as its peers. Price of gold, profit sharing and production will matter more. Would be nice to hear something good from Burkina Faso as well. | ![]() flopticalcube
28/6/2016 14:51 | Thanks for the update Rebs :-) | ![]() sawadee3
28/6/2016 14:34 | Rebess4, Do you know if there are any time constraints on that? | wigancasino
28/6/2016 14:32 | As the SAC has now suspended the case, there are no scheduled hearings or anything. The case is now on the SAC's shelf until the SCC rules on law 32, then the case gets activated again. But it is obvious now that if law 32 is found to be constitutional, then the SAC is going to apply it. As we know there is no timeframe at all for the SCC as law 32 is now with the commissioners and they could take as long as they want (they certainly are!!). From my point of view, if the commissioners found law 32 constitutional, I could definitely see the SCC agreeing with them, so the commissioners report could signal the end of our cc, while if the commissioners found law 32 unconstitutional, then we would have to wait longer. I know the question now would be (Why the SAC has not ruled based on the facts of the appeal and without involving law 32?).. I don't know the answer to that question.. Now all my computer search engines changed to "law 32 commissioners report" :) Siko | sikaweel
28/6/2016 14:19 | Ah well, yes I saw the post from Siko on LSE. Sold immediately - I think miners fall back into a daily cycle low. Taken a hit but waiting for an opporunity to get back in. Thanks Rebs for the updates. See you next time there's news! | adverseking |
