The court case has been suspended until the SCC rules on L32. - So, there we are, I guess we've become used to this state of affairs. - I'll post any more news as and when.

You can bet that shelf stacker packed more shelves than all his pie eating Brit colleagues put together Rebs :-)

A few nerves JuJu, it's understandable. Hope they don't get caught out by a massive re-rating on a positive outcome!

Brexit mark two

What about last night then - Iceland? - That's it for me, I'm doing my shopping there from now on. - Actually, I think one of the shelf-stackers from my local-branch was in the team. - Amazing.-:)

Good morning all you good-looking CEY investors :-)

It's true about the Polish talent Rebs, you can't help but notice :-)

I think most of the Brexit voters were Brit ladettes who feel very jelly of the influx of stunning East European beauties :-)

Saw - good morning

I was re-reading your posts of yesterday and came across the point you made on immigration - Polish birds, politeness, their asses etc. - I have to say that it was a brilliant observation. - Nobody picked-up on it did they in their pitch to the general-public. - Neither side. - If Corbyn had used it in his address he might not have been in trouble just now. - In short it was f###ing brilliant. :) :) :) - I love it.

nina - hi

The short answer is no. - I've read where he needed to reduce the family-trust in the shares to below 5%, which he has done. Although I don't know the significance of doing so. - The trust still holds more than 50m shares of course. - It's possible that he's released funds for investment into new-opportunities that are opening-up in Egypt. - With new licences up for grabs and being on the inside-track and well informed, that would make sense. - But that's only my opinion. - The one thing for sure, with the large holding that he's retained he hasn't jumped ship.- If there were to be more significant sales then that would concern me, but I'm comfortable with the status-quo.

Adverse - I don't know if you know or not but the cc was booked for ruling two weeks ago. - The decision was made on that day to defer for a further two-weeks to allow a re-plead. - I can't enlighten you as to what re-plead means or which party it applies to. - The significant fact for me is that it was only a two-week deferment rather than the 3-4 months we've experienced in the past. - I think this means that they want finally to resolve the situation. - cheers.

Saw - There's one thing for sure, Brexit will create market turmoil for the foreseeable future, which should be good for gold. - It will create a 'Risk On'
situation whereby investors seek safety. - The usual shelter for this has been government bonds, however with no yield now from such investments, gold will become the air-raid-shelter of choice. Moreover, it has the potential to run for a very long time in my view. - So, yes, let them get on with it and in the meantime we'll make a few quid. - cheers

Adverse - Court case booked for ruling 28th June - tomorrow. - That ruling could still be a deferment but it could also be a final decision and if it is it could have a significant influence on the SP, so it's just as well you bought back-in. - We'll know the outcome tomorrow. - cheers

Hi, long time investor and follower but have taken my eye off the news for a couple of months.

Would be appreciated if someone could bring me up to speed regarding the CC and why this is supposed to be the 'ruling/final' one.
I actually sold today in profit but look the plunge and entered back in if this is true. I've been in too long to miss the promised day! Rather take a hit if things go pear shaped than look back thinking i'd missed the CC day!

Not great that Gold is easing off now.

Been with the stock since 2011 - so have seen my fair share of postponements. Can survive another.

Thanks
