31/1/2010 02:07 | This may have changed by the time you see it, but CLTV is number 10 in Hargreaves Lansdown's most viewed shares list - normally all big caps like the banks | zangdook
30/1/2010 10:35 | Kiop I put 2 and 2 together yesterday and rewound some posts to find your message - thought it might have been you. CLTV has a considerable way to go. As you know, I have held for what appears to have been an age expecting this recovery. I will give you a call to discuss this and matters general. | ![]() thesageofsaint

29/1/2010 10:45 | the analyst The accounts don't make it clear, its pretty off-the-peg wording around revenue recognition... intuitively (well, to an accountant at least) they should just be recognising the payment they get from the mobile operators... it would be like a farmer saying he sells his potatoes at supermarket prices, and one of his costs is the supermarket overheads and profit margin, in reality his revenue is whatever he gets paid by the supermarket. But anyway, I think that given the figures in the interim results, showing Cellcast India to be profitable at PBT level since about March, the breakeven level is a lot lower than 10m calls per month...and the growth rates to the end of the year seem to be in excess of those I postulated in my T M F post which you kindly linked to in the header... so making my valuation look a bit cautious. Whether they can hit 50m transactions per month - really don't know. They've grown 5-fold in a year but to grow 5-fold again is many many times trickier. I'd say it's certainly not impossible. 29/1/2010 09:03 | theanalyst I agree that the transaction numbers are fantastic. One note of caution (although I am a big bull on this share, I want to be realsitic), those prices you quote are for the customer - if it works anything like in the UK, Celllcast will get an "outpayment" from the mobile network. In the UK, this ranges from 30%-60% of the customer charge, the percentage increasing as the SMS cost goes up (i.e. a 25p SMS will pay out 8p, a £1.50 SMS pays out 90p). It is this outpayment that would get recognised as revenue, I believe, and the margin should be calculated off that. Regards MetaphysicalMan | metaphysicalman
