Raspberry Pi issues formal intention to float on London Stock Exchange (Peel Hunt).

Several other companies are also strongly rumoured/favoured to be contemplating near-term UK IPO's - such as Shein- as flotations in other jurisdictions gain impressive momentum.

That rising tide keeps on getting stronger.

Not Cavendish but a strong sign of an increasingly active market.

I think all the junior brokers are fighting for survival. So
little liquidity in the AIM market Companies have to ask why be quoted.

It needs a rethink. Stop shorting on AIM is a sensible first step to stop the marginal seller being the price setter in placings.

Amazing the chiefs at the AIM brokers haven’t figured this out yet as ultimately it is destroying their businesses.

Just bought a few more. Anyone have any thoughts on the dividend they may offer with full year results?

lol - there's always a way to buy in size - just might have to pay a premium for doing so.

I tried £10k, couldn't even do that in one go.

Gave up. Shame.

1.
that's exactly what you want, isn't it?

finding and buying something which is totally off the radar, with small volumes at present.

...and you wait for it to come back on the investor radar - and that's when volumes will jump

2.

market cap £39 million.

cash £21 million ( up from £12m)

....meaning this share is MORE than 50% cash-backed

3.

Very buoyant outlook for private M&A
Fantastic synergy savings

4.

Significantly ahead on Revenues compared to pro-forma figures.

Looking promising. Very promising.

The press is full of reports of a strongly resurgent M&A market and increasingly buoyant IPO markets in USA and Europe after last year's lows.

Great recent IPO successes for REDDIT and Trump Media and Technology in the USA and for Galderma in Europe.

Have to believe that it can't be much longer now until the UK market takes its lead from USA/Europe.

In the small-cap arena, another likely early harbinger of this increasing activity is the recent 18/3/24 Intention To Float on AIM issued by European Green Transition through rival Panmure.

Always darkest before dawn.

Cavendish have now updated their "Deals" so far this year for 2024.

A good volume of non-public M&A so early in the year.

Bodes well for Cavendish.

And bodes well for the market where pent-up and growing demand for M&A is clearly evidenced

Staff incentivisation schemes are a powerful tool to motivate the workforce.

Yesterday's announcements are very encouraging.

De minimis dilution to shareholders for what is a very sound, tried-and-tested plan to retain and create a highly motivated workforce.

And those share price targets for additional staff bonus shares are what investors should really be focusing on.

The targets are based on share price performance - not other metrics. - The share price targets are not set without due care and attention and a belief that they are achievable!

A great step for Cavendish, staff and shareholders alike.

This is good news.

Snouts in the trough again. Let's get this straight the combined offer to staff is going to cost around £2m of shareholders money without any performance or share price improvement.
