material could mean either a
significant admin event
OR could mean a ground
breaking find..

as CCZ has allowed trading
in london whilst sydney has
been put on hold clearly
suggests it could be a minor
price sensitive event,

time will tell!!

APF - tend to agree that it will be positive. I also suspect that CCZ are concerned about a leaky ship. If they have evidence that someone with inside information has traded then they have no option.

If they've taken the trouble to suspend in Australia then I believe it would have to be material.

If it were just a pocket or a small area then it would not be material.

The initial observations and subsequent assays from the previous campaign weren't subject to a trading halt......

'Material' could also mean indicative if it can be shown to be more widespread. The big one seems to be mostly very low concentration with a small chunk of better grade nearer the 2 historical small pits.

Arcadian, I thought the same - not to their own people.

Another possibility is: suggest 'Material' indicative find at the big one.. add drama by halting OZ trade. Excitement Spikes shares for Brits. Flip shares. Official RNS confirms that find is only in a small area. People do the math(s) and realise it is hardly feasible to mine.

Well we will find out what their definition of material is. If it is a thick seam and widespread then great. If it is a pocket of good %Cu then maybe not so great.

Im more inclined to believe 'material' means in a positive way.As they've already discovered a resource, I cant see it being materially negative that it's suddenly disappeared....so likely a positive rns to come thursday morning in auz.

Today the price action indicates that people seem to put their faith in a positive announcement but they may be misguided. I can`t believe that the company would do this to their OZ shareholders.

Material to the understanding of an aspect of the business, in this case the resource held on the BS - given that the RNS relates to drilling. 'Material' can apply to both overstatement and undertstaement.
