I finally sold the latter half of my small CCZ holding today (Wed 28th Dec 2022), at a loss. Another poor recommendation by HotStockRockets. Admittedly with this one I ended up doing my own trading with it, but even if I had followed their recommendations step by step I would still have made a considerable loss. From HSR’s 15th Jan 2022 update on CCZ: “We profusely apologise that it has not worked out as hoped, but with much more comfort elsewhere in the portfolio it looks better to take the hit here and reinvest elsewhere. Sell.”.

Not sure that announcement justified a suspension of trading although it adds a potential gold mine so to speak to the apparently available resources.Anything in the rare earth mineral spectrum that isn't in China is also a definite plus.Is it enough to go for a top up I wonder?

Presumably if you're an Aussie and you are the fortunate recipient of leaked information you can buy on AIM although I suppose it may be easier to track insider dealing if you do that.

Seen it before it does seem odd that on these dual listed that you can carry on dealing in one market even though there is deemed to be a risk of price sensitive information leaking in another. Market here certainly interpreting good news..and to be fair the shares have been behaving slightly better of late.They get a mention in this piece from proactive Australia today on copper..but it looks like it might be other resources that are set to make a difference?https://www.proactiveinvestors.com.au/companies/news/997917/copper-set-for-a-bull-run-but-who-will-benefit-997917.html

Trading halts are requested by a company when a price sensitive announcement is near release. The temporary suspension prevents confidential information from leaking to the market prior to official publication. Trading halts are lifted after the release of the announcement, and cannot last longer than two trading days.

Castillo Copper Limited (LSE and ASX: CCZ), a base metal explorer primarily focused on copper across Australia and Zambia, advises that trading in the shares of the Company has been halted on the Australian Securities Exchange ("ASX") effective from 11 November 2022. The halt was requested by the Company pending the release of an announcement relating to geological results at the Broken Hill Project.
