27/4/2020 07:27 | Because its just not in their nature to tell the truth...153 is at MJF average, 150 was the exception at 500bopd rather than the rule | control1
27/4/2020 07:25 | They finally came clean on A5. Why could they not have been upfront and explain the problem a few weeks ago? Still not a dead duck, but very frustrating. | ridicule
27/4/2020 07:13 | RNS synopsis ' 2nd New Well, 153, on the MJF makes total, all wells, aggr production apprx 2,000 bopd. 1st New Well, 150, on the MJF structure continues to produce around 500 bopd | togglebrush
26/4/2020 21:38 | Picardy. 150 was the first mjf well for ages. The lack of debt, which is a good thing, has meant that operations have been funded through earnings, so have gone slowly. Mjf was paused apart from workovers to find the deep program. Now we have a program of 18 wells on mjf which has been paused due to low oil price, but when resumed and if successful will increase production to 6-8k bops. | dhb368
26/4/2020 20:03 | I think that sentiment is starting to turn positive re CV. Can see a blue week ahead with or without news gla | rutter
25/4/2020 18:04 | Why is their bopd not growing? Presumably they have more and more shallow wells coming into production and more to come. But the figures in the header above remain static. Is there an explanation to that? Maxim, care to share how you arrived at 8p valuation? Many thanks | picardy
25/4/2020 16:34 | 153 is following the same process as all the other MJF wells and I can't see reason for concern. Wireline logging completed and analysis to identify interval for perforation, cementing should have been completed so a similar result to 150. The oil is there so it should be like falling off a log ! | xclusive2
25/4/2020 12:54 | I am hoping 153 is now producing. If not and no progress on the deeps then both will be attributed to a viral infection in the workforce. It's an excuse that has fallen in to their laps for this and any future hold ups till year end. The good news is they have managed in a low oil price regime. Thankfully we are not sitting here wondering how we cope with a mountain of debt and praying oil rallies to $40 to get back to our cost production. The shallow chug along but with the chance they pull a giant deep rabbit out of the bag. Shares are currently worth 8 p I estimate, so remain a buy. | maxim1999
25/4/2020 12:44 | Refurbishment/ replacement to manufacturing, power generation, utilities etc . | maxim1999
25/4/2020 10:15 | Quite poss to fluff a well, even a shallow at over 1.5m is not a walk in the park but hopefully not. They're not shutting down the MJF operation only the deeps as I understand ? Not doing anymore drilling but hopefully they finish 153. Not expecting a fluff up, expecting success and maybe a deep surprise but not holding my breath. | xclusive2
25/4/2020 08:42 | Dhb ... good points re "Asian banks, oil traders and oil funds implode" the U.S. see.s to be protecting some of its shale unsure the Asian Banks and oil traders will get that level of support ? Usually when Caspers know theres an rns coming theres a loyal run up as the fomo kicks in and they all buy ... the trading pattern for the last 2 years is sell into that and buy back when Clive releases the next jam tomorrow excuse for an rns, that this extra fat isnt being built into the share price says to me if theyve fluffed up again and then sent the workers home on the release of the next rns we will see 2p again. .. if positive rns 5 to 6p ? | georgesorearse
24/4/2020 16:10 | Oasis Petroleum OAS, & Abraxas Petroleum AXAS, both going bonkers in turnover today. Lets hope the same thing happens here. Get on with it Clive. | hallow
24/4/2020 15:43 | Buying has dried up because perps know that there's a persistent seller. Only good news will bring investors back Or do I mean traders Another disheartening week. I think X2 might be right with his 2 more weeks to wait | rutter
24/4/2020 15:07 | Thought we'd see an up day today but hey ho. Tiny volumes as DHB stated and maybe too much risk with our Casper ? Let's see what next week brings, probably defer it til the following week when all deeps should've been completed and they may have the monthly production numbers too ? I'd be a tad concerned though if they left it til then as 153 may not be as slam dunk as we hope. 153 next week please and follow up the following week with deep 'progress' and then a separate note for production numbers. Three positives and here we go, 3 negatives and revisit the lows, a mixed bag and trade between 3 and 6p. Option 1 please. | xclusive2
24/4/2020 14:09 | There is still money in oil.. Oasis (OAS) Abraxas (AXAS) both going mental.yesterday and pre today. | sparusty
24/4/2020 12:16 | Volume tiny everywhere (I am invested) it seems today. Confidence is low and a lot are sitting on their hands and their cash. On one gold stock that I am following some gloomy posters were complaining about MMs playing games to allow someone to accumulate. Total trades - £712 for the day. :) Time will tell but I think that oilers have already been hit with the 'triple whammy' of CV19, OPEC+ and May's WTI. IF we can get a good RNS before the Asian banks, oil traders and oil funds implode we should be able to revisit and maybe hold onto 6p. | dhb368

24/4/2020 10:02 | So I am reading the news on the disposal of assets at TLW. The share price has rallied pretty strongly. Sort gives us a reminder that these shares can continue to surprise on the upside and our current forlorn hope of a successful deep maybe not so naive.Elsewhere the press today discussing permanent damage is pretty depressing. So I have 2 salesman based in the West Country. I have been contemplating moving them to a production facility , hiring some machine operators and investing in some plant. But it looked too expensive and unclear the return. However I have re priced the capex, the rates are now zero, 2 others I wanted to hire are furloughed so available shortly and the landlord is saying 3 months rent free for the unit. The existing (currently I add ) client base is intact and once I can agree a price for machinery I am pulling the trigger. The new plan is not quite on the scale I wanted but the risk is now minimal it looks very attractive. My point being is we are in uncharted waters and I think we have to work out if there are opportunities and keep sifting the mud to find them. | maxim1999

24/4/2020 09:00 | Peeps nibbling at the top end, should be ticking up and maybe a run up pre next weeks news. | xclusive2
23/4/2020 22:25 | Me too. We are due one. | dhb368
23/4/2020 22:07 | Hi DHB...hadnt left just been playing covid stocks .. instead of watching paint dry here .. looks like the usual suspects have bought back in for the rns ... hope it a good one ... | georgesorearse
23/4/2020 16:44 | 1.8m buys 1m sells and 2 sells account for 650k. We've all got different agendas, the big sells at this level could be distressed or could be at a profit from the mid 2p opportunities. So much upside on the face of it, nor without tidal I know but many bags could be had. Each to their own. | xclusive2 |
