Looks like some more family planning in there with the appointment of the son to the board. I doubt we will ever know the real reason but looks like KO wants his son their to mind the company assets.

As to the rest all good stuff and yes it’s interesting that reference to acquisitions although the last one “The boat” which was pointless at the time needs to contribute before we have any more.

Still apparently the world is getting bullish on low cost oil once the shale, heavy, tar and legacy historical have been closed down in the next 6-12 months.

Today is not a good day with Buffet's downbeat views on stock markets over the weekend. We should still have a couple of ticks up. This should re-rate when the dust settles.

Has Clive just confirmed that the acquisition of the Caspian Explorer has been put on hold?

RNS 21 Jan 2020 - Oraziman's family's interest would increase from 42.9% to 44.2% after sale of CE to CASP

RNS 4 May 2020

.....we also suspended work on a number of acquisition prospects....

....Oraziman family which owns 42.9% of issued shares

So the £100k per month berthing costs mentioned on this BB a few times are not being incurred by CASP as they dont currently own Caspian Explorer?

applaud the actions taken to safeguard future in face of cv. and obviously liking the 150/153/151 news.

rns, not so much, holes have already been pointed out by others.

a5? shaggy dog.

aibek? hmmm, would like to know his experience.
could be a good sign, may provide some keyman risk mitigation.
or not, if his mindset isn't aligned with kuat's.

RNS again doesn't mention anything about revenue or the local price they got!

That is a fantastic RNS. Wonder who wrote it. I hope this is the new CASP. Downplay/be cautious with the first RNS, confirmation later that results were better than previously reported. To achieve 25% of pre cv19 G&A is outstanding. One thing that caught my eye, 'acquisitions'If we assume CE was one what else were they working on?

Me too thought it would at least rise to 4p before the sell off. Looks like whoever was selling last week is still at it.

I can't understand the lack of response. These should be up 25% on this news. The company has a higher valuation now than when it was 6 p 2 weeks ago. More production , higher oil price and a new well spudded .

I wait for the report that claims that Aibek Oraziman is an independent NED...

Otherwise for once there's unquivocally more plusses than minuses in this RNS. But I don't recall about the production cap - what licence upgrade is required? This wasn't mentioned in the July 2019 confirmation of the licence to earn international prices.

That's a Carlsberg RNS. Can't understand share price reaction and there's only one thing to do (:

The financial measures taken to reduce costs and the ongoing revenue give the shares limited downside from here. Especially as we are trading at a discount to what the shares are worth producing 2000 bopd. The upside is attractive with the ongoing shallow programand substantial with the deep program. This must make the stock look attractive vs similar shares in the peer group.

DHB can dm David Black if yr worrying, had a pint with him while I was waiting for wife after agm, thinking of it we had another pint when she turned up .. in cahoots with Flawless no wrong phrase ... he disagreed with me strongly for selling out at 13p rebuying 4 to 6p then doing same again at 6 to 2.4 to 3.1 .. he believed in casp, i stopped trusting the comms from the board .. we compared research notes at times but no longer in touch as in different shares.

X2 agree 1p unlikely but ive got enough casp at 2s and 3s as a long term hold at cheap money as i think oil will take long recovery dont want to tie capital up unless its got good potential for me thats 1p rather flip it in and out of bouncing stocks..

1p entry....,lol. Not saying it's impossible but that only comes on the back of an insolvent Kazakh KO and clan, takeout or take Private, not impossible but unlikely. KO has all assets in Casper, needs the do to go north as fo all the Directors, otherwise no payday.Meanwhile, the oil production destruction is happening. Much there's a glut, it's managed and all down to the politics going forward. If oil cuts continue and oil prices stay sub $30 for a while, companies will tumble, wells shut in, rigs mothballed etc, oil investment is a sensible play. Keep on buying the big boys and Casper will return several bags from here even without a deep success. Sounds like a plan to me.

Thx. I can see you sensibly recommending solid stocks like ODX, SNG, but I didn't see the next best thing coming. Was it one of those you are referring to?

You know what I meant by pyramid gsh. Your 'mates' tell you to buy a stock (after they have loaded up) and for you to make a profit to have to ramp it and bring on buyers. The originators of the p&d will have exited before you know and then you have to exit before everyone realises it was all sht.
