Buzzz I am not sure about that. He can buy but he must not know what the news is, which clearly he does not as no one does. They are not going to not release update on 801 just because Limerick bought. The clock is ticking and the news should be due at some stage, good or bad.

I am bracing myself for another week of no announcements. 2 weeks since the last operational update is a nano second in CC time. It's ironic that it was quicker for the oil to form the decomposition of plants and animals than it is for Caspian to implement a 90 day well test.

Thanks x2 . I guess we have to try and stay sane longer than Caspian stays irrational. As you say we just need one deep to come in . Hopefully it will be 801. If that fails and we have to wait for A5, it will be a very boring second half of the year .

One deep is all they need Maxim. If that lands and MJF is without problems, you'd be mad to sell as the hype will kick in and that would be the start of the money making piece of the jigsaw. Trading profit yes but there will be considerable returns if they can deliver. All IF's and almost impossible to decipher Carverspeak but still worth the punt.

K,There is so much news outstanding that there's a fair chance that some of it may be positive ! As you know the reason I downsized was that I was concerned re MJF not being as lucrative as first communicated. I've since added a few here and there and took anther 140k yesterday as I believe that the licence and hopefully a deep will be forthcoming. Next news mid to end of Aug. As ever, tick tick.

disappointed not to have heard about the mjf production licence being obtained and about new shallow spuds. can only think there have been delays on this - not a good sign, as all ducks for this should have been lined up months ago - and seemingly were, so what's gone wrong???

Much that our Edmunds has bought a few, we're in an open period and a news vacuum for a few weeks and people are probably betting that the share price will drift. May recede back to recent lows at worst so no major gain by selling and hoping to pinch another few % margin. Sit back and wait to see if they actually can deliver that first deep.

To add, our CC having a great day with AST today. Are they going to get a partner whether farm in, JV or acquisitor to drag them from the mire. Going to be difficult to pull off with Slovenia not playing ball, is it yet another AIM penny share disaster, hopefully not for those still invested.

Re a positive sign, yep i see it as that and part of our little move today was aided by my purchases. Edmund and his wife have purchased on several occasions before but they're still waiting for a return, as am i.

By the way Simon Potter CEO at BPC has been receiving shares as part of a salary sacrifice agreement. This was amended as notified by RNS today and much of the speculation is that it's a precursor to the much awaited deal with a major

xclusive2: If the director was awarded shares in lieu of salary than it would be explicitly stated in the RNS and would not be defined as a share purchase.
"Edmund Limerick, a director of the Company, purchased 480,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 10.25p each for a total consideration of GBP49,200.

Its not as though he did not have a considerable holding prior to the purchase with over 3,200,000 before this further purchase. I see it as a very positive sign given the anticipated developments in the coming weeks

Why would CC ever buy he has sooooo much stock already and trust me if we ever get any drilling success he will load up out of the options pool for free.

No better bull signal for a stock than director purchases. Let's hope this gets some publicity around the market.
