16/8/2018 06:57 | Caspian Sunrise - CASP 1 year and 18 weeks after Clive's epic statement, (1 year 4 months and 2 weeks) we're sitting on something pretty special, we still haven't been told anything. How time flies ! | hallow
15/8/2018 09:21 | frank, definition of oxymoron brilliantly explained, "genuine carverspeak". you could be spot on about a sudden surprise. imo its a binary situation. one day after all the reasons/excuses have been exhausted, probably around the time the sun's energy is about to be exhausted and it is dying out, a casp update will either say p&a or success! i'm hoping a) its the latter b) its a few billion years sooner, say september? | konil
15/8/2018 08:34 | Smarty, thanks for your comment and sharing your idea. I also have been long waiting for Carverspeak what he said. I know drilling at the oil fields has many hurdules to overcome and it might be delayed than expected. However, as you pointed out the way of communications with shareholders and market from this company CASP has not improved even after changing company's name to CASP from Roxi. Recent update on three deep wells semmed to messed up for two months, and I do not understand why Carver did not mention about the progress at shallow well including application for full production license. Maybe, it was beacuse of 3Abest deal completion, cashflow issue or any other issue we do not know. I agree with your thought Director's buying shares righr after the recent RNS might be positive indication. Time will tell us. Hopefully, we will get genuine Carverspeak on deep 801 within a couple of weeks, as I learned that from Carverspeak when RNS on update will be elapsed than expected timeline, it was turned out another troubles to sort it out. Anyway, I wish CASP will give sudden surprise on deep well flowing one day as they did in July 2014 for BNG discovery news. All the best to CASP investors on here from one of shareholders in Korea, South. | 63frank
15/8/2018 07:17 | Frank, We obviously have problems getting 801 to flow and if you read back through the 801 history (providing you can understand fluent Carverspeak), pressure has always been the issue ie too much when drilling and not enough when flowing. They can continue to pursue the deep wells and keep the story alive but they need cash from the shallows and i have that concern that things aren't as rosy as communicated. I think they're on a go slow, is that because of the lack of cash or is to do with the 3ABest deal ? Lots of news to come and we need some real transparency, especially after all their overstated expectation setting. Let's hope our Edmund Limerick's recent investment is informed ! | xclusive2
15/8/2018 07:12 | Hallow , do you mean to or by 11p. Moving up 1/2 p is not the typically definition of shooting up? | maxim1999
14/8/2018 10:28 | When news does break here, if at all, it should shoot up to 11 p on the bid. It should be an incredible day. Sharp movement expected. Wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend. | hallow
14/8/2018 06:44 | According to Carverspeak on 801, it seems they will do acid work to clean up any borehole damage caused in the perforating process and enhance the permeability of the reservoir. Does anyone have idea how long the acid work will take? | 63frank
13/8/2018 21:43 | toggle, usually statutory reporting is as dull as ditchwater (though many seem to believe magnificent news will be delivered with interims or finals but its usually not the case, its a company (any company) just going through the statutory motions). btw, i know you are not one of them! however, on this occasion given what has not yet been reported i feel there is at least some chance we may actually get 'new' news with the interims. hoping so anyway. there you go, i've set myself up for a fall. hahaha what's new kiddo! | konil
13/8/2018 14:28 | FWIW we entering a "Closed Period", for Director dealings, with Interims possible on or around their last reported date Sep 20th in 2017. "Closed Period" is normally accepted as 30 days prior to posting date | togglebrush
13/8/2018 12:58 | Maxim, Edmund Limerick is a Director of the company and therefore can only buy stock in 'Open Periods' and this would normally mean that news is likely to follow a few weeks later when their back in a 'Close Period'. I don't believe we get news until next week earliest, probably the week after. Hallow, Good article and in the Kazakhs favour, not so if it was classed as a lake. They haven't divided the sea bed, that will be interesting. Also, i'm sure the Russians will not be happy if some of Tengiz happens to have migrated to to the Kazakh territory ! Tick, tock. 13/8/2018 10:24 | Copied from LSE thread Section 3 looks interesting | hallow
13/8/2018 08:47 | my concern remains the absence of news on the granting of the mjf production licence and the spudding of mjf shallow wells. the shallows have not been beset with the same problems and technical challenges as the deeps during initial drilling and this part of the operational plan was, on the face of it, low risk. the cumulative impact of mjf programme on cashflow (and reserves) is massive even assuming a 50% success rate, though the company were clearly suggesting it could be 100%. the mjf programme is on a long fuse, spanning 9 quarters (2 wells per quarter). it was due to kick off in july. what's happening? | konil
13/8/2018 07:59 | Buzzz I am not sure about that. He can buy but he must not know what the news is, which clearly he does not as no one does. They are not going to not release update on 801 just because Limerick bought. The clock is ticking and the news should be due at some stage, good or bad. | maxim1999
13/8/2018 06:16 | maxim The fact that the FD was able to buy £50,000 would no imminent news. | buzzzzzzzz
12/8/2018 11:49 | I am bracing myself for another week of no announcements. 2 weeks since the last operational update is a nano second in CC time. It's ironic that it was quicker for the oil to form the decomposition of plants and animals than it is for Caspian to implement a 90 day well test. | maxim1999

09/8/2018 12:17 | AST back to where it was before the drop a few days ago. | hallow
08/8/2018 19:14 | Thanks x2 . I guess we have to try and stay sane longer than Caspian stays irrational. As you say we just need one deep to come in . Hopefully it will be 801. If that fails and we have to wait for A5, it will be a very boring second half of the year . | maxim1999
08/8/2018 13:23 | One deep is all they need Maxim. If that lands and MJF is without problems, you'd be mad to sell as the hype will kick in and that would be the start of the money making piece of the jigsaw. Trading profit yes but there will be considerable returns if they can deliver. All IF's and almost impossible to decipher Carverspeak but still worth the punt. | xclusive2
08/8/2018 12:01 | I am wondering once I have sold out here what will mean more. Making a profit eventually or shucking this drooling swivelled eyed monkey of a stock off my back. | maxim1999
