We will get another one tomorrow saying due to a deterioration in the weather ops have been suspended.

Whether the weather was bad or they have bought additional time to manage issues we'll never know. If they've been working 12 hour shifts then i'm hoping that all the logistical work ie getting coil tubing, ensuring all piping on site etc.

If you're watching the Winter Olympics, I think they've got a point when working in adverse conditions. Nothing we can do but sit back and wait.

Let's give them the benefit of the doubt, it's been too cold to work but I bet operations at Tengiz hasn't come to a standstill and neither has it over the last 10 years at Roxi.Prudent management of operations or smokescreen to buy time and address operational issues ? Markets having fun as they come off their highs. Correction or crash ? Interest rate hike talk is causing jitters and volatility is the result. When you're getting 4 or 5% swings in a stock that's good news but when it comes to indices !!Not going to be a crash as we're not in a recessionary environment so hopefully oil demand stays high and with it future prices.A shopping day for bargain hunters today ?

When you read the latest Corp presentation, it reads very well but timescales are far too optimistic. Deep success timeline showing as -;A5 - mid Jan801 - FebA6 - AprilAre they slowing Ops down to facilitate acquisition and to max out from new production licence from June , doubling sales revenue ?New MJF shallows not planned until July do looks like they are going to max out as opposed to sell at local tariff.Patience definitely required !

smarty, i think they were still at 3400bopd and the 4000bopd figure included the 'imminent' 146 production, but its not happened yet!

hopefully next update will clarify.

Mr C pitched 4000 bopd on Dec 14, probably knowing that were issues or they were not producing from all zones. They're now saying 4000bopd capacity from the wells drilled so that must mean if all zones delivering. Have they hyped up the production flow rates as part of the PR exercise, we'll never know. If they're producing 1500 bopd less then that's a $1m pm hit to cash flow and may be one of the reasons for slowing drilling ops.

Re ops success, yep that's what we all want and that's what they're promising, much that there are no guarantees. Let's hope that this outfit don't go down in history as promising much and delivering little.

smarty, weather aside, iirc they've been at td with those 2 shallows for some months prior and since the 'weather excuse'. i guess they've hit snags, if so, i'd rather they were up front about it. if no snags then a positive update pronto.

imo most pi's interested in investing here, with the current story, have probably taken positions long ago, and also long ago run out of firepower to keep allocating funds here! new interest will only appear on real operational progress. meanwhile those fed up are exiting and the share price is dripping away.

re. the concert party, who knows how they will contrive to maximise their various assets and funding opportunities. dilution here may be the least of evils as far as they are concerned. i have no comfort in this area until we see something of substance that shows pi's are not going to be shafted.

on that last point, a good ops update and a consequent significant and sustained rise in share price is about the only thing that will do!
