Couple big buys just in, is this the start of olive's rocket about to launch lol |
That's because they're mine and buys... |
Dipla
Yes you maybe right regarding the 3x 300k trades
Odd the Bid price has been increased following the trades though?
Big buy order in background sweeping up the stock of the paperhand holders perhaps ;-) |
Some one has hand enough, few big sales |
K
There is a fourth option but my post will be deleted if say what it is ;-) |
well they have a little over 3 weeks to let us know whether the sale is done, further delayed or cancelled. |
bm, its not what i was referring to.
confusing, contradictory, incomplete and disingenuous content in almost every rns is entirely within the company's control. it has sapped invesotr sentiment and company credibility. |
Clive is probably going to publish an all bells & whistles RNS update very similar to the RNS dated 25 March 2024
It would provide some symmetry if he confirms the Shallow sale proceeds have been received in full as the sale of the Shallows was first hinted at in the March 24 update
He might also decide to surprise market by publishing next RNS intra day just like the November 24 update which caught out a few of the day traders when the share price pinged nearly 100% before falling back to 3.5p
This time I'm hoping for a bigger more sustained ping based on the quality of the released operational news ;-) |
'the company has brought it on itself'
Or alternatively they've had some operational misfortune (in acknowledged to be difficult drilling conditions) plus a hell of a lot of third party delaying, completely outside their control. Both of which are reversible. In the latter category we have licence approvals and AR deal completion. |
nn, yeah the share price is nonsensical but the company has brought it on itself by losing investor credibility.
some of the valuations mentioned in the media may have held water previously but given the sentiment towards casp i reckon projected figures are a bit rich. some operational success would change that.
but even with impaired credibility certainly scope for much improvement from these levels. |
We've had a long period of either no news, or announcing delays. Of course people get fed up, some then sell and move on. It's an illiquid share so the price reacts disproportionately.
But that's largely outside the company's control. Much of the delays are caused by third party prevarications and bureaucratic hold ups. When the various logjams start clearing, sentiment here will be unrecognisably positive. Arguably, knowing that, makes the current situation a buying opportunity and reason for being optimistic; not one for gloom. That same illiquidity can then work the other way. |
Couple of years. And yes in hindsight would have been better buying the lot now at this level rather than over the intervening period, but that difference should be immaterial by the end.
And yes I'm aware many posting here have been in for longer; some for much longer, and buying higher. Of course the different timescales will colour your judgement and affect the levels of frustration while you wait.
My minimum target price is mid-teens, possibly this year but more likely within next couple of years. A price target which, incidentally, I see as far more likely than continuing to languish down at these levels. |
How long have you been in if you don't mind me asking. |
The absolute opposite.
Very much looking forward to what 2025 brings for this company and its shareholders. The Concert Party are the priority and most other investors should have been aware of that when they first bought in. We are simply hanging on their coat-tails. If they're content to be in for the end-game then so should we. |
Know not no lol. |
They are so contemptuous of us all. They no we dont matter and boy do they show it. Hand up those who wish they had never heard of Casp but now find themselves trapped. Good luck to all. |

checked last (7/24) Zeus Capital report and based on current share price we are sitting at a lowly 3.8% of the unrisked fair valuation! |
No licence can't drill. But still agree with you we should be kept informed no matter what's happening |
Someone just posted on LSE about 7 months with no drill info. What a discusting way to treat shareholders. |
"so an exit close to fair value will be a multibagger from 2.9p"
agreed!
i'm assuming they would enhance the value of the deeps prior to any consideration of exit, so if its going to happen its some way off yet. |
Has to be news in next 4 weeks of course. The new long stop date for shallows sale being 28th Feb. |
Agreed NN.
41k and 69k trades are apparently buys, btw. |
Think current share price is close to fire sale valuation, so an exit close to fair value will be a multibagger from 2.9p
Don't think we will be waiting much longer to get a rapid flow of news ;-)
Does this presentational slide from 26 Sep 24 qualify as the last operational update 4 months ago, with Shallows producing 1600 bopd? |
nn, i dont have confidence in this lot to execute anything over any time frame let alone repetitively on an annual basis. just not in the dna of this company.
best hope is for one off divis returning some cash as assets are sold, or prep assets and hope for a buyout at 'fair' value, while the company has cash so doesn't have to settle for firesale numbers.
i'm guessing (hoping really) the management and cp have had enough and are looking for a profitable exit. a good cpr after further deep drills or better still one flowing deep and it will be possible. |
frustrations here got to me years ago!
i'll cash in my chips when i can do so without loss...may never happen.
meantime divis, if they ever happen, will soften the blow. |
