That was for a team leader on the workfloor, thats all I know as fact. I don't have time for making things up. At the end of the day, I'm new to this, but even I can see that must be a good sign.

What I cant get round my tiny little head, is how long its taking to get things analysed at C&C,

There was a very negative article in the times last week which mentioned the debt of 160million and little chance of the bank allowing money to go out of the company in shares

The longer this suspension goes on the more likely there will be 0 or very very little value left for the shareholders, I fear; fortunately I got rid of 3/4 OF my shares at 6 to 8 pounds but still holding the remainder...

I am not a holder of C&C stock, but it seems the Gov. still has faith in the company. They have been awarded futher contracts in the roll out of Phase 2 Pathways to Work...

I would rather they take their time but come back with a positive news. selfishly, this will not allow me to crystallize any loss on large positions (and therefore prevent the downward pressure on the share price on the day of re-listing). Today all long (and short) positions are marked up to the last value and people on margin are only paying/receiving interest payment as well as keeping about 50% margin. Merry Christmas and happy new year to every one. Let 2008 bring by lucky to all.

I think the importance of this RNS to me is that it implies Carter and Carter are coming back!

"NEW & IMPROVED CARTER & CARTER" - Slimmer, lighter and faster.

Will be nice to see them back although I do not expect market confidence to rocket them back to dizzying heights but if they deliver the results after 6 and 12 months they might recover some of the lost ground.

The Company continues to be in active discussions with its lenders and key
stakeholders for the restructuring of the business. At this time the Company can
confirm that significant progress has been made and that it is hoped that
agreement and implementation of a restructuring proposal can be achieved early
in the New Year. A restructuring would seek to ensure the financial stability of
the business and the continued high level of service to its customers. The
Learning and Skills Council (LSC) has been involved in the discussions to date.
Further details on the progress of the restructuring will be made in the New
Year.
