usp3989,

Can a disabled company really look after disabled people or will they just take the money and take a hop ?

Only question is - what do you make of a government quango that passes as fit for purpose an organisation that admits it is incapable of even servicing the interest on its bank borrowing?

Makes you want to pay your tax doesn't it!

........usp3989 - that's interesting. That's the second piece of relatively good news since suspension. That must surely be taken into account by the banks when deciding to carry on support.

I have pasted this from the board of iii. How true is it any comment. This might be useful for the shareholders.
Just to let you know that Carter & Carter have gone through to the next procurement stage in the DWP ESF Co-financing round in a varity of different areas.

I will keep you updated when the results of the New Deal tendering round for Disabled People is announced.

thanks hvs, seems as if we are the only ones on this thread who live in the real world The rest still believe in santa claus thinking that these shares will be re-listed.

This company might as well start selling lollipops!

Yeah this company is doomed, another type of quango company that has no use at all. You can't run a private company like the council. Full of lazy wasters, daft and poor is eternal, vocational training won't make any difference!

Overzeal - 14 Aug'07 - 08:34 - 2 of 457 edit

MM,

£100m was the debt at June 2006.
It is nearer £200m now.

Does anyone know background to a comment I saw on Bloomberg TV saying that "Carter & Carter Chief states that LSC requires them to repay money paid in North East Contract". I cannot find anything on the formal newswires but, in any case, does the £131M debt figures include or exclude this possible repayment?

If there is substance in this statement - and assuming the figure is large - this could be the straw that breaks the banking camel's back.

Temp Insane - I have to ask how did a company with an share price of £12 suddenly drop to 50p just because the CEO died. - Most strange.

I dont think it was suicide - no normal man would take his son with him.

But it does make me think of possible motives for murder.

Maybe the dude who died in the helicopter crash knew that something was wrong and killed himself before a group of shareholders got a hold of him.

Screw feelings this is my hard earned money that is on the edge!
